We are all sinners (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from God and leads to death (Romans 6:23). But Jesus is the “Advocate” for those who exercise faith in the ransom (1 John 2:1). Jesus intercedes for them, asking God to hear their prayers and forgive their sins on the basis of His sacrifice (Matthew 1:21; Romans 8:34). . God accepted these petitions of Jesus because they were in harmony with His will. He sent His Son to earth “so that the world might be saved through him”. - John 3:17. fruits of the spirit wall art
Also because we are all sinners, because we all die the same, so no one can save the other. That's why we need Phuc m. The gospel is God's plan of salvation for mankind. All of man's efforts to save or liberate man are fruitless for the understandable reason that since humans are equally sinful, we cannot save each other. We are all prisoners in the same prison, no one can like anyone. We are all sinners to God so only God can pardon and save us.
Pascal said: “The world is a large room with the door locked from the outside. The whole of humanity is imprisoned in it, the wise, and the knowledgeable are around them, closer to the wall, and the ignorant are in the middle. They were all fumbling to find a way out.” There are three main reasons we need the gospel
Everyone is a sinner
The penalty for sin is death
Humans cannot save themselves
It is for these three reasons that we humans need the gospel. Man is in a state of utter despair, separated from God because of sin and with no way to return to the just and good God. In fact, people throughout the ages have also found many ways to return to God through their own efforts. Humans have found their way back to God through many ways of cultivating virtue, doing good and avoiding evil, asceticism, and observing moral rules,... All forms of religion, in general, are the ways people use for salvation or deliverance. These are commendable efforts but the problem is that human efforts cannot solve the problem like the dead cannot save the dead, the same prisoners cannot release each other or stay close to shore. walls like the image of Pascal's dark room, all are groping to find a way out. Let's look at the problem like this to see clearly: religion is man's effort to reach God, to reach truth and beauty. We are like people on this planet, each one tries to jump very high but we have to fall because the gravity of the earth pulls us down. On the contrary, the gospel is the way, the way from heaven, so that it can bring people out of sin. The cross represents the dead dog of Jesus, which is the bridge connecting heaven and earth, God is righteous with sinful people because on the cross, that is, based on the death sentence that Jesus bore. For us, the problem of man's sin is resolved to satisfy God's justice.
“All have sinned and missing of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Two words "missing". Man's efforts, no matter how good, do not meet God's standards. We rise from below, so we can never reach God. Only God can reach the man with His plan and way from the top-down. Religion is man's way of reaching out to God and the Gospel is God's way of bringing man back to Him. Like an injured person lying under a damaged house in an earthquake, someone outside needs to be saved, like a person outside a dark room opening the door, only the people inside can get out. In the same way, blessedness can save sinful people outside of sin.
That is why Jesus declared: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father but by Me” (Gospel John 14:6)
This is not a baseless claim but a statement based on the facts of people. The reality of man is that sinful man is separated from God. Man cannot save himself or save another because they are all the same sinners. Therefore, only the sinless man Jesus can save the sinful man. Not only that, but Jesus also did something to create a means of salvation for people. There is no such means or means as the death of God. Jesus must pay or die for our sins. We are sinners. God cannot simply forgive us our sins. We are sinners. God cannot simply forgive us our sins. We must be sentenced or have someone to take the sentence for us, God can forgive us. That is the Gospel, the Good News for sinners. That is the way God uses to save man.
