What does the bible say about religion?

The bible says that if you wish to perfect your wisdom, you have to get out of the bible and into other works.

Hebrews 6 King James Version; 1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Do you want to progress further than you have?

It’s the devil who wants man “to get out of the Bible and into other works.”

“Near then the parable of the sower. When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road.”

(Matthew 13:18-19)

“The sower sows the word. These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the seed which has been sown in them.”

(Mark 4:14-15)

“Now the parable is this: the seed is the word of God. Those beside the road are those who have heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, so that they will not believe and be saved.”

(Luke 8:11-12)

The devil doesn’t want anyone to hear and believe the word of the kingdom -> the word -> the word of God. The devil doesn’t want anyone to be saved.

The word of the kingdom -> the word -> the word of God isn’t a general message about the Bible. It‘s specifically the gospel which Jesus and the apostles preached.
