Is anyone like me? I always think of things after they happen and then its too late to react. Why does this happen? Its always 'I should of said this or done this'. So you become disappointed in yourself because you didn't think of it at the time and think God must be disappointed in you, but would He, you didn't think of it......

I dont think He is. if he'd wanted you to say something then you would have known to.

What your saying happens all the time, my mistake is trying to fix it and it usualy only gets worse. ![]()

I have different people tell me different things, some say never go and confront them and others say yes everything should be resolved. Drives me nuts, I lean towards resolving things but that has turned into disasters in some cases and good in others. I guess the only thing we can do is what feels right to you in your heart and if it doesn`t go well then be happy with yourself that you tried.
If I could only practice what I preach ![]()

I believe if you see somethings wrong you should confront, especially when there are helpless little ones involved. (to go with what I said before about the subconscious and safety zones)
If the other decides to resolve or make matters worse their choice but someone needs to take a stand and I believe thats what God calls us to do. I believe sometimes the war we fight, we may not see it at the moment maybe possibly because inside we're scared to stand up so we block it out until we're back in our safe spots and then its too late sometimes. Lesson's hopefully learned for the next time. Bravery is not born but made and God calls us to be courageous for Him even if its subtle. My fleshy self of fear is what held me back and I now see it and am disappointed. I always see after the fact, recap with the Word, see I need to now go forth and pursue and am too scared to do it. So later something similar may pop up and I subconsciously ignore it because of fear. |

I think some parables sum it up well.
Remember the one saying some sow, some water and some reap? Which means some do nothing? If you are part of an issue you don't sow if your job is to reap. God knows your role.
