The one thing that I can't figure out is that none of them seem to be able to bake a simple cake. 
White Cake Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan.
In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs, then stir in the vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder and add to the creamed mixture. Mix well. Stir in the milk until batter is smooth. Pour into the prepared pan.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. Cake is done when it springs back to the touch.
There ya go … it's just that simple … !
I'm happy being old. More and more I look forward to something new and clean. I don't want my crosswalks painted rainbow and I don't want to watch people rubbing each other in parades regardless of their orientation.
