Galatians 6:1-3 King James Version (KJV)
6 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

Galatians 6:1-3 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

6 Brothers, suppose someone is caught doing something wrong. You who have the Spirit should set him right, but in a spirit of humility, keeping an eye on yourselves so that you won’t be tempted too.2 Bear one another’s burdens — in this way you will be fulfilling theTorah’s true meaning, which the Messiah upholds.3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is really nothing, he is fooling himself.

1 We as Christians are to show love to believers who have gone the wrong way rather than be angry at them which are easy to do. We are to show them mercy and point them to the Lord but we are not to be tempted by them in what they are fallen into. We need to know that we could fall too and that we would want to be shown love to draw us back to the Lord.

2 We are to grieve when another believer suffers. We are to try to help our family in Christ thru their burdens and trials and be there for them to turn to. The law of Christ is to do what His says keep service to Him.

3 We are to be humble a prideful heart leads us to further sin. We are no better than anyone else and our sin is just as great as the next person, we needed Christ to die for us just as they do. Without Him we are worthless because of our sin but because of His love we have everything and are a somebody.

Hi @clark thompson , haven't seen you since T.J....Momma always said think before you act, This is so often so hard to do. When we mess up as a Christian, we do have Romans 8:1 to be reassured with. I like your discussion, I think it is as simple as this most of the time: Other than scripture, ask yourself how Jesus would react and then proceed!
