“The Nine Republicans That Voted To Deny Formula For Babies”
U.S.
These Nine Republicans Voted Against Expanding Access to Baby Formula

BY EWAN PALMER ON 5/19/22 AT 4:36 AM EDT
Nine Republicans in the House of Representatives have voted against a bill that aims to facilitate the purchase of baby formula for those on low-income federal support programs.
The Access to Baby Formula Act, also known as H.R.7791, would allow low-income women to buy more baby formula through the federal Women, Infant and Children (WIC) program.

It received a 414-9 bipartisan support in a House vote on Wednesday amid the formula shortage crisis in the country.

The repunbicons who voted to deny baby formula are listed below for all to see

They are: Reps. Andy Biggs (Arizona), Lauren Boebert (Colorado), Matt Gaetz (Florida), Louie Gohmert (Texas), Paul Gosar (Arizona), Marjorie Taylor Greene (Georgia), Clay Higgins (Louisiana), Thomas Massie (Kentucky) and Chip Roy (Texas).

As a bystander, I do not see what’s the big deal. Babies are not sole -ly dependent on a mother’s milk. Or whatever is dubbed “BABLY Formula”.
I’m 72 and what gives me the most nourishment is a protein-packed; nutritious drink on the market that is called “boost”.

Listen, I am not advertising “boost”.
The only reason I am bringing this up is a possible nutritious substitute for the only commercially available product on the market that advertises as a baby lifesaver. That stuff you mix with water and then stir real hard kind of nourishment.

What do the Russian mothers feed their babies-?

Just asking
No animosity intended or implied,
So help me God (:-

Benefits of Breastfeeding for the Baby

Breast milk provides the ideal nutrition for infants. It has a nearly perfect mix of vitamins, protein, and fat -- everything your baby needs to grow. And it's all provided in a form more easily digested than infant formula. Breast milk contains antibodies that help your baby fight off viruses and bacteria. Breastfeeding lowers your baby's risk of having asthma or allergies. Plus, babies who are breastfed exclusively for the first 6 months, without any formula, have fewer ear infections, respiratory illnesses, and bouts of diarrhea. They also have fewer hospitalizations and trips to the doctor.

Breastfeeding has been linked to higher IQ scores in later childhood in some studies. What's more, the physical closeness, skin-to-skin touching, and eye contact all help your baby bond with you and feel secure. Breastfed infants are more likely to gain the right amount of weight as they grow rather than become overweight children. The AAP says breastfeeding also plays a role in the prevention of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome). It's been thought to lower the risk of diabetes, obesity, and certain cancers as well, but more research is needed.

Breastfeeding Benefits for the Mother

Breastfeeding burns extra calories, so it can help you lose pregnancy weight faster. It releases the hormone oxytocin, which helps your uterus return to its pre-pregnancy size and may reduce uterine bleeding after birth. Breastfeeding also lowers your risk of breast and ovarian cancer. It may lower your risk of osteoporosis, too.

Since you don't have to buy and measure formula, sterilize nipples, or warm bottles, it saves you time and money. It also gives you regular time to relax quietly with your newborn as you bond.

Breast milk can't be 'nearly' perfect as all human and animal have always drunk the stuff and grown up fit healthy and strong.
Maybe today's denatured foodstuffs for human and animals does cause breast milk to be inferior to what GOD intended.
