Galatians 3:8-10
KJV 8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. 9 So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
WEB 8 The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, “In you all the nations will be blessed.” [1] 9 So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham. 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, “Cursed is everyone who doesn’t continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them.”
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
8 We who are not Jewish can share in God’s blessing because we are righteous by our faith in Jesus the Righteous One. Abraham was given good news from God today the good news is thru Jesus death but Abraham was let known this and his faith looked forward to it. We are blessed by Abraham thru Christ being his descendent.
9 We are blessed by God because of Abraham, Abraham was not Jewish but just a man of faith that God called as He does with us.
10 We can not be saved by keeping the law, because we are bound to break it. We can not live by the law if we could then Christ wouldn’t have come
