I tried that one and I still think the squares are different colors...I don't get it lol. I even looked at their proof.

:hysterical: ... my eyes hurt ... and as you, I am still not convinced ...:blink:

I even tried an old Pentax 1% gray scale light-meter on it and almost went blind. I don't think they were meant to read off of a back-lit monitor.:eek::eek:

Cut and Paste in Photoshop of A/B swatches done by me ...

Most illusions, once you are told what to look for are easily understood. This one at least for me, is a learning experience, because while I understand the explanation, as hard as I try to see A and B as the same shade, I cannot. :not:

I find this a little disconcerting ... I tend to think that what I see is a good representation of reality. In this case I was proven wrong.

Perhaps there is a lesson here ... ??

If you cut a small hole in the center of a piece of paper and place the paper over your monitor so that only square A is visible through the hole and then move the hole over square B then you see they are the same shade of gray. Download a large version helps as well ... careful with the monitor ... ;) :D
Time to move on ... while I can still see ...:yowza:
