Here is an interesting link ... There are people who have little cross references in their senses. When they listen to music, they might see a particular color when a particular musical note is played. Others see each day of the week as a particular color or defined by a certain mood. Some find it annoying and try to ignore it. :ignore:
I wonder if there is harmony of color that goes along with harmony in the music? ...
I have two things, that I know of, that I get cross-referenced. Both are simple words. One is the word "please". Whenever I say or hear the word ... as far back as I can remember ... I see "white" and I get the feeling of purity but not blinding light, rather friendly, perfect, and revealing light.
The other word is "thank-you." To me I always see chocolate brown. I say chocolate brown because along with the color I get that same feeling as when I actually eat a piece of chocolate, but a little subdued ... but I am talking good quality chocolate here. maybe a Swiss. Not bright and full of sugar, but smooth, velvet, and subtle. I remember sitting down as a young guy six or seven years old and trying to work through this. I still get a chuckle from it. ... and no, I can't get over a chocolate fixation by repeating the word thank-you over and over again. :wavey:
Little subtleties of the mind ...
There are a couple of tests at this link that are kinda fun to try, particularly if you have any of these characteristics. :tiphat:
