Nuclear war

Do you think we would ever have a nuclear war? Would that fit into Revelations any where?

There are scenarios in the Trib that might or might not be nuclear war. But stating it firmly cannot be done.

The last two verses jumped at me many different ways. “Grace” ended, wrath and judgment in her place. Solemn thought on this night we celebrate His birth, but none the less, right at the door.

Isaiah 55:6

6 Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.

Yes. Iran is indeed very dangerous, along with China, Russia and North Korea. There is no doubt in my mind that nuclear weapons will be used. In the book of Zechariah chap 14:12-13 the Great Profit said "Their flesh shall consume away, their eyes shall consume away out of their holes, their tongue shall consume away from their mouth".
But the key part of this verse is that they would do this while standing on their feet.
There is nothing else that could do this except nuclear weapons.

That actually isn't true. We already have diseases today that rot living flesh.

Even further this occurs in the area that afterwards they will harvest for materials to use. Not going to happen if radioactive.

More so this area flourishes during the MK. Not going to happen as well if radioactive.

At the Second Coming, when Armageddon occurs, the Bible also says they are slain with the power of his word.

This is Armageddon being talked about here, the 7th Bowl of Revelation.

Nuclear worked for me too ... :nod: ... sort of the ultimate consuming fire. I have scaled it back just enough to not be radio-active :D for the sake of those left to harvest. :nod:

Deuteronomy 4:24

4 "For the LORD thy God [is] a consuming fire, [even] a jealous God."I always saw Zechariah 14: 12,13 happening a little like the Raiders of the Lost Ark ... as in eyes melting in their sockets etc. reasonably quickly ... and then birds right there feasting.

Rev 19:21

19 The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

As well as slain by the word we have a lot of fire as well at this time ..?

Isaiah 66:15,16

15 See, the Lord is coming with fire,

and his chariots are like a whirlwind;

he will bring down his anger with fury,

and his rebuke with flames of fire.

16 For with fire and with his sword

the Lord will execute judgment upon all men,

and many will be those slain by the Lord.

After doing more reading and researching I believe your right. It wasn't just that verse and book that through me off though. I also thought that in the Book of Rev 6:14 John was speaking about Nuclear War. The Heavens departed as a scroll when it is rolled together and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
I do however believe that Nuclear Weapons will be used. There is to much hated in this evil world we live in. If you just turn on the tv you can see our "fearless leader" mocking the Bible, dening Jesus as Lord, stepping on the toes of Israel. ISRAEL!!!
Iran is nuclear capable and want Israel totally distroyed. Were living in the last days and we will see what all the Great Profits wanted to see......Amen!!!Praise Jesus!!!!

A mistake is dismissing many of the things that happen during the Trib are supernatural, not man made.

The demons locusts rising from the Pit most assuredly are supernatural. The cause great suffering.

The land splitting under Christ when he returns is supernatural.

All the islands and mountains disappearing are also supernatural. There is no way nuclear devastation of that magnitude would leave anything alive on the earth if left to its natural effect.

Angels dry up the Euphrates, not any act of Man.

Bottom line is we there is no way to balance all said in the Bible with being nuclear at Armageddon unless there is also supernatural intervention as well.

On the subject of Iran i spent a little time there, and they believe in the return of the 12th Iman (al-Mahdi) or the hidden Iman.

Worryingly their prime minister (Ahmadinejad) is a very strong believer in this; they believe the 12th Iman will return when the world turns to chaos - so sadly if Iran (probably when) gets Nukes then they will have strong reasons for using them.

Absolutely correct. The Iman Mahdi and Prophet Isa (Jesus) will purge the world of all non believers.
