We're expecting 12 to 18 inches here in NW North Carolina. That's unusual for us. I'm sitting here on the couch with the laptop watching it snow. Yee haw!!! I'm off work for Christmas and don't go back until the 28th. They're forecasting another storm to come in next week on Christmas Eve.

I'm no longer dreaming of a white Christmas... it's a reality! :yowza:

Yee haw, dude!

Pouring rain here. Maybe we are just getting it ready to turn to snow as it moves north. :aah:

It seems you get a lot of rain?....

I do like Michigan because of the good mix of all seasons.

We either are getting soaked with rain or baking from drought. Seems to be no middle ground.

Still raining off and on.

Wind, I'm gonna stay in out of it. They let us go home from work early yesterday, about 1:00 p.m. It had only started snowing about 30 minutes to an hour before that. By the time I left the office, the roads were treacherous! I slowed down and made it home in one piece.

Core...you guys definitely don't need any more rain, that's for sure. Same with us. We've had too much this year. The ground is too soggy. We had the worse drought on record in 2007, followed by too much rain.

However, even though we don't need any more precipitation, I'm happy to have the white stuff. We don't get it but once every few years or so, if that, and definitely not a foot of snow like we have right now.

I'm enjoying it.

... couldn't find Splat, North Carolina, so I poked around Jefferson looking at some real-estate on the web. My, My, Chrystal, what a beautiful part of the world. Rolling hills and the colors like I've never seen in the trees. Most looked like a painting.

Waterfalls too!!! Me and Chelsea went touring the world on Youtube the other day and we visited Carolina. What was it Veil Falls?..... A water fall right beside the road!

We also visited Alaska, Japan and Hawaii. Might go to Brazil next. The reserved park in Japan is amazing!!
