Just to go over the basics of cut and paste using the online bible at the top of the forum page.

Open CTZ and go to the thread you want to respond to then open another internet link and go CTZ again, but, click on Online bibles at top of page. You can now go from one to the other quickly.

If you click on "Online bibles" you will end up here:

http://www.biblegateway.com/

if you wanted to cut and paste John 1:1-14 for example, you only need to type jn1 where the cursor is pulsing and then hit "Enter" key or left click "search the bible" and that takes you here:

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=jn1&version=NIV

To select text to be copied, position the mouse pointer just above and to the left of the text you wish to copy. Hold your right index finger down on the mouse (left click) and draw the mouse pointer through the text. You will notice that the background of the selected text turns blue. When you have selected the text you wish to copy, release your index finger. The text selected should stay blue. You can practice with this text.

Position the mouse pointer anywhere in the blue background text and click the right click mouse button (middle finger) You will see menu box appear on the screen. The first word in the menu box should be the word "copy". Left click (index finger) with the mouse pointer on the word "copy" . You have now copied the selected text. Practice with this text.

So now the text has been copied to your computers clipboard and you want to paste it right here. Position the cursor where you would like the text to start ... usually a line or two below your last paragraph. You create a cursor point by moving the mouse pointer the where you want the cursor to be and then left click the mouse. The cursor should appear and be pulsing. Now, right click the mouse (middle finger) with the mouse pointer over the cursor and up pops another menu. About half way down the menu is the word "paste". If you position the mouse pointer over the word "paste" the text will appear like this:

John 1 (New International Version)

John 1

The Word Became Flesh

1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4In him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood[a (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=jn1&version=NIV#fen-NIV-26040a)] it.
6There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. 7He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. 8He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. 9The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.
10He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13children born not of natural descent,[c (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=jn1&version=NIV#fen-NIV-26048c)] nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,[d (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=jn1&version=NIV#fen-NIV-26049d)] who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

If you want to tidy it up a bit you can do this: If you want to separate verses so the are easier to read just remember how to place the cursor with the mouse pointer. Place the cursor just behind each verse number and then press enter. The verse will move down a line and to the left margin. You can always preview to check what it looks like. if you like you can make the verse numbers bold. End it all by wrapping it in a quote and it looks pretty good.

[B]John 1: 1-14

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 He was with God in the beginning.

3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men.

5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.

6 There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John.

7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe.

8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light.

9 The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.

10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.

11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—

13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. Also you can cut and paste any web page address. With the mouse pointer over the address right click the mouse. The address turns blue and a menu box appears. Left click on the word "copy". The address is now copied to the clipboard. Paste it wherever you want.

Simple when you have done it a few times.

Also, I'm sure there are better and faster ways to do this, so, feel free to add helpful shortcuts ...
