My town is a population of around 8000. A restaurant is opening soon that recently closed. Guess how many apps they have received in the last 2 weeks? 1200! Why don't they take their Now Hiring sign down?! Gives you an idea how bad employment in Michigan is.

The number of people unemployed in Michigan at this point in time is just slightly fewer than the entire population of the State 100 years ago.
... not good ...

... and if you notice, the stock markets are soaring on the money taken from you for the bail-out.

... which means, basically, that nobody cares that should care (accept God) and they are moving right along, accepting good people living in cars, parks, etc. while their empty houses sit in foreclosure.

... wars have been fought over smaller issues.:grr:

I know  While I feel for everyone everywhere, Michigan is one of the, if not the one, that got hit the most and their still taking more it seems. When you mention war... sometimes I wonder. Right now there are small wars all over the place out if desperation when you think about it. Can you believe it... some food banks or ministries have no food :(

So many crimes. Theres a sickness being born in those that have an empty space because Jesus is missing in their lives. Not just robberies are going up, but it seems shootings and rape as well.

All and any here working for the state is no good, bunch of snakes. Its crumbling, so many try to be positive and are trying to start things up. But they all seem to get blocked because of the mess were in, state and nation wide.

Tell you what, my hubby's stability at his job is a mighty blessing.

Having Jesus in my life is even bigger! Jesus is the only one that saves. If He wasn't in my life who knows what my reaction to things would be. He didn't just save me from the pit but from myself as well.
