Thought I would start a new thread to see where everyone is at.

Well here we are getting ready to celebrate Chelsea's b-day next weekend. My hubby is still plugging away at 1 1/2 jobs. Great outlook on those restaurant vibrators!!! Exciting. Gets us things we need for the winter approaching at any rate!

My employee evaluation will be next time I go to work. I have been there for a year with "credits" on my shoulders so hoping for a raise, anythings good but please more then 25 cents!

My niece Kaelyn has that appointment in 1 1/2 wks. Hopefully there is info. on that right away. She will have to get that removed from her head at any rate and it will scar. But at least its in a spot where her hair can cover it. I have done a lot of research and its weird especially for a person so young and in most cases it appears to be cancer. If anything hopefully it will be taken care of with a simple removal.

She will need prayers to be brave. She sounds fearful of things just like my daughter. I also empathize with her mom, my sister, she is a single mom and on the edge of financial trouble from the sound of it.

Last night we had our sink drain leaking bad into the basement. Hopefully no big fix or too much taring apart.

Thats about it, not much.

And you?.....

We`ve been busy trying to get the motorhome roadworthy, it`s been one thing after another. Most of the problems have been with the cooling system, yjught I had it then took it for a drive yesterday and the radiator leaked.
Health problems is always an issue with everyone, if ya don`t feel good everyday it just makes everything else harder.
I keep praying that God is making all these issues surface now so I can fix them before we go and have a nice trip.
Bow season for deer and small game season opened today but I have no interest in hunting this year.
Weather is weird, we`re having July temps in September and flowers blooming that should of been blooming in June.
Come Lord Jesus.

Been busy with what I will call a local project. See how it comes out in November.

Doing some work on the house. Finished laying tile in the laundry room and installed a new cabinet.

That is more than enough to keep me busy for awhile. In fact if the project goes well at least the next 4 to 8 years.

ITW I know how you feel with the cooling system. It seems like with all the cars we have owned in the past we have had problems with everything to do with the cooling too. I bet working on a system in a motor home is a whole different ballpark.
You know what I did, my first car, I was in high school. It was a 68 Buick Skylark. It needed radiator fluid. The transmission and radiator fluid came in similar looking containers. I didn't read it I just added.... transmission fluid! Emptied it and flushed it out. Didn't work too good since that stuff is oily. But the car ran fine :)

With house repairs I can't wait to paint. Our kitchen is 5 different greens, yuck! And blue tile. We have wood floors that are in good shape and just need refinishing. I can't wait to re shingle the roof and put up siding!! Siding can make a house look brand new.

My dream is to knock part of the ceiling so we have vaulted ceiling and upstairs overlooks down. To get downstairs finished with another bathroom. Also to knock out the back kitchen wall and put a sliding glass door in its place with a walk out deck.

We also want to build a small barn and move our driveway. One day we will cut down trees and have a huge fenced in park looking type yard. Oh I can't forget to mention replacement of the windows.

The bad thing about MH`s is everything is hard to get at, still haven`t figured out how you would get the engine out.
In fact i have a tranny line that is leaking that i have to fix, you can just reach it with the end of a screw driver.
Sounds like your in a good place and have things to look forward too, i`m happy for you guys.

I'm doing nothing. NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING! I'm just sitting and watching the paint peal.

There are many things I WANT to do, but can't. I want to paint the house, I want to plant our winter garden (too late for that now), I want to wallpaper the bathrooms, shampoo the carpets, go back to work, etc., etc., etc.

I'm a tyrant when I can't go out and about now. I even miss work...how pathetic is that???

I'm not a good convalescent.

I can only imagine Chrystal. If I was in your position I think I would be doing a lot of reading or maybe some crafts. I love crafts!

I've been doing Bible study, which is always a good thing.

I went to the preparations for a work-related event with one of my co-workers. My boss showed up. I wasn't working, I just walked around, which is what my doctor wants me to do. When he saw me, he turned his back on me and said, "I didn't see you." Family Medical Leave is a touchy thing. I promised him I wasn't working, just walking. He was okay with that.

Today it's rainy and cold. I've got on my winter jammies and am trying to take it easy. All that walking yesterday made me sore.

Core, if I had to spend 17 months like this, I'd go bananas!!!!

At least you get to walk around. If I tried it I'd have been flat on my face. Besides, I couldn't get up on my own if I wanted.

Raining here as well. But hardly cold :(

Scrap booking sounds fun! I have one I work on a little every year for my daughter. Sounds like your healing well Chrystal, one day at a time. I am so glad :) We have a scrap booking convention coming to our hotel in a month or so.

Core what were you out for when you were hurt? Sounds very miserable.

Shattered knee cap, ruptured disks and nerve damage that caused other problems.

OUCH!!! Do you have any long term damage? Are you more prone to arthritis now because of the past injuries?

Permanent damage.

Prone yes, but so far so good on nothing serious.

I hope Chrystal fully recovers on hers.
