How do we know what God wants us to do all the time when it comes to decisions? Strong urge and both sides of the answer make yes's and no's; so you've weighed the options. It also seems there is nothing else out there but yet we never know Gods plan for our individual lives until the plan unfolds. We never know if this is an urge He has placed in us or something we just want. What do you think, opinions please.
When I talk to others about saying no to this they all agree it would be for the best and its heart breaking and unfair! Except a small few say yes for not so good back up reasoning. We have to think about future preparation and stability (why most say no) which we NEVER know. But then we think of the heart and family and that's why others say yes.
Something in thought for 2yrs and has been strong. I have dreams of this all the time. But I always say no because of money and the future of this world.
What does God want me to do or to be. Do I sit and keep waiting or proceed with something that could bring even more hardship on us than what we already face? Hubby wants it too but he has the same concerns as I and says no too.

Wow! You asked one of the toughest questions there is.
All I can say is that if there is nothing sinful in doing it and you guys feel so strong about for so long then you are going to have to make a call, yea or nay.
I see nothing in the Bible that says one has to have guaranteed success to proceed. But neither does it say you will succeed.
But I can say not deciding will lead to big problems. Move forward or forget it. Staying where you are is stagnation and either holding you back on this issue or blinding you to an alternative option.
I wish I could give a better answer than that. I cannot.

Oh how I wish God would tell me in a voice I can hear what to do sometimes, but I reckon if He was in the habit of doing that then there would be no need for trust and faith.
All we have is prayer and faith and trust that what we do is right and surly it will be a learning experience regardless.
I`ve learned that in the end we are the only ones that can make the final decisions in things not others.
I bet I had five or six people tell me to let a matter go and forget it but my heart kept telling me to go resolve it so I did and now I feel much better.
Ya gotta do what you think is right not what others think when the choices get real tough.
Will be praying for ya.

wow, good question...
that has apperently dogged us all.
nothing wrong with moving forward although it might fail.
you learn things as you move forward. things to do and things not to do next time.
nothing seems its ever set in stone like we'd like it to be.
I'd love for God to say loudly and clearly do this or that too.
sure would elimate the confusion! but He does'nt do things that way LOL
things have a way of changing. whether one just sits back or moves with the ideas.

 You have all said some words of encouragement to me!
I love what you said about faith ITW! Thats something I think about and put my focus on but I also think about preparation ect. so I find the balance and don't act foolishly. But my understanding at the same time is not understanding and I think thats why we lean on God so much in our faith for Him to make the decisions for us. This is not a foolish thing by any means. Yes if only I could hear His voice loud and clear. But then I think maybe thats why my heart and love for this thing is so strong, maybe thats Him telling me to do this, I can't ignore it, for some time now.
It seems most people with half cold hearts are the ones who think it would be foolish.
You said it Core! It is a big question I think hits us all from time to time. There is not a day I don't think about this and it seems to get stronger. Your right, time for decision and move forward. Yes answer, (I think) would make us happy and no answer, would makes us all feel a little empty.... never know the outcome til it happens. I have a hard time decision making but a decision in is order your absolutely right!
And thats the thing Jessie is failure! If there was, our whole family is involved not just me and I couldn't live with that. The heart of it would be taken away and it would of felt like a selffish act.
Thanks for the prayers!

The other day someone said something to me that got my attention. I had said i`m going to have faith that everything will be ok on a trip we`re planning. The lady said trust, have trust.
That got me thinking and why I used both words in what I said earlier, the word trust seems like it has a different meaning than the word faith.
Is there a difference in having faith apposed too trusting God?
Any opinions anyone ?

I think its the same thing...
sometimes because of the twisting of wof and all on the word "faith"
I like to use the word trust.

Hmm when I think about it trust could be "I might have doubts but trust you will follow through" and " I have faith therefore I KNOW and there is no doubt". To me maybe trust and hope are the same thing. ??? I could be putting too much thought into it.

Yep. Sometimes we just have to trust God will guide our decisions.
