Apocrypha

O.k. I am barely learning about the Apocrypha. Why weren't these books added to the Bible and can they or it be purchased in the store? O.T. and N.T.? Why were they not considered authoritative?

Because they never were.

They contain errors and more.

Christ referenced every book of the OT in some way, but never those books. Plus the get esoteric, even gnosis.
