When talking to others about God I constantly get asked how does evolution fit into the Bible. How do we show them that evolution is a lie?

... the great deception of Darwinian "evolution" is that it deflects thought away from what is certainly the "True" evolution of the human race.
... to be translated from "Death" unto "Life" is certainly ... at least in my book ... very real "Evolution."
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.
[B]Ephesians 2:4-6
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved
And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus:... now that's "Real" Evolution!!
... nice to meet you!

Sometimes we need to show reason for others to even consider the Bible as regards evolution. With that in mind:
God vs Devil (http://www.christiantalkzone.net/forum/showthread.php?t=4668)
Skim through to see points and counter points.
Challenging evolution II. The butterfly. (http://www.christiantalkzone.net/forum/showthread.php?t=4073&highlight=evolution)
http://www.christiantalkzone.net/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif Challenging evolution. The honeybee. (http://www.christiantalkzone.net/forum/showthread.php?t=4068&highlight=evolution)
Plus various other search finds (http://www.christiantalkzone.net/forum/search.php?searchid=272954&pp=25&page=2).
Also Google:
proof against evolution
In the simplist list from I see:
No transitional fossils
No transitional living life form
The forming of the first simple cell is statistically impossible.
Fossils appear suddenly, not gradually and conform to the Old Age, Pre-Adamic Biblical beliefs.
No scientific reason for anything to exist; time, space, matter, energy, etc.
Violates the Law of Cause and Effect
Demands on of the following 3 is true
All matter, energy, etc has always existed, no beginning, which violates the Law of Cause and Effect.
Appeared suddenly, without reason, which violates the Law of Cause and Effect.
Was created from nothing, which either demands the supernatural, meaing God, or simply moves the whole question back to where did the creators ultimately come from, thus answering nothing, just adding one more layer of questions.
Bottom line is the ultimate challenge, which is that there is something that defies science and human logic to explain away many questions. Something that simply should not be, by physical laws, etc, but is.

... found his little quote ... simple yet profound ...
If man evolved from monkeys and apes, why do we still have monkeys and apes?

I never understood the arguement. To me, God is evolution. Science is man's way of feebily explaining the complexity of God. I don't see why the two have to be separate. Man's attempt to separate evolution from intelligent design theories are man's way of trying to show how his intelligence is greater than our Father. Have you noticed that the more levels of scolastic intellectual goals people meet, the more they say they have outgrown the concept of a god. Look at how almost all of the great learning institutions in our country shy away from even mentioning God or the theory of intelligent design. One prime example of this is the show "The Atheist Experience". Some very intelligent people, who have met many educational milestones, yet think they are the center of the universe. Their big thing is prove me wrong that their is no god. Even when given the evidence of the bible itself, they dismiss it as havng no justification since they claim the witness accounts are too outragous. My answer would be, prove to me that the witnesses were lying? If I recall, the majority in this nation are Christians. Since when has the majority, had to explain anything to the minority if they are not violating any constitutional guarentees. I agree, Christianity should never be forced on anyone. When asked, explain why you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior. If they wish to know more, explain it to them. If not, let them go on their merry way. It is our Father's job to open their hearts to Christ, not us. We just present our views on why Christ is important to us.
May God Bless you all!

Its not a case of thinking you are more intelligent than your creator. Evolution is simply a lie, and calls into question the very word of God. God said it was created in 6 days and Jesus himself confirmed this, he wasnt trying to fool us, it coulded be more clear.
By all means we need to tell them about Christ , but why do we have to add doubt about Gods word?

There would be no Church if the Apostles waited for them to come to they. They almost got killed many times for preaching to those who didn't ask to hear it.
The Church is in decline because of laziness and many just assuming the doctrines of many denominations are just correct, which, in and of itself makes a joke of the Bible when so many cannot take the time or have the desire to learn real truth.
As for evolution, as roman8 said, it isn't the intelligence of believers trying to do so, it is the Bible saying so.

You hit that right on the head sir. The problem (in my opinion) is to many people take their pastor's word on biblical truths, yet don't research the truth in The Holy Bible itself. I"m not saying, don't trust your pastor, but if something sounds inaccurate or not per the scripture we have a responsibility for ourselves and to our Father to research the truth and question anyone who claims to be speaking the truth. The more I study God's word, the more I'm finding that those who profess to know the bible inside and out really don't know the word as it is written in the bible. Christianity has suffered greatly in the hands of the so called "Biblical experts". We have a responsibility to teach the bible for the biblical truths God intended. I hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend and please remember the veterans past and present.
Take Care and May God Bless all!
