hello fellow brothers and sisters i come to u and ask to help me over come some wat of an addiction i have. i could be addicted or i could be inthenile <-- small joke ..denial.. but that thing that is making my soul get further and further from from heavens golden gates is PORN.:eek:. yes porn. now porn is probly the most common thing on the internet, easiest to find, and so-on..but i say im not addicted to it because i dont always see it..i dont get any pleasure from seeing it and i would choose a new car over it..but i do say im addicted to it because every time i try to stop looking at it/downloading it. i can go for a good could weeks without any problem but every time i get on my computer i have the urge to go and see wats new on my "favorite" adult site. its an urge that i sometimes over come but not always. i try and try to fight the urge to i win for a couple of days but then just give in and start downloading some days i can download up to 3gb of adult videos,but i really dont look at the videos i just download them out of curiosity, i watch about 5-7 minutes of the video and then delete them..i dont think i have ever actualy watch a full adult video in my life:scratch:but none the less i am sining. i have tried and failed count less times ive tried to put a parental control on my computer but i have notice none of them work..using the computer and going online has become a every day thing thats way i find it even harder to stop this act.the only way i can make this stop is if i were to get rid of my laptop and move out to the woods where there would be no way of me to get my hands on internet access ,but i dont see that happening since i do need to go to work and school and church and stuff so im asking so prayer so that my man jesus christ can give me the daily strength to over come this obstacle. and since im asking for prayer plz mention another thing to jesus, i also need the straight to find my church service less tedious and not to fill the need to step out side for a while..

well those r the 2 biggest times i need help him..lastly if any 1 would like to help me out personally with my request i would love 2 get emails if possible daily emails of encouragement <<<like no dont even think about it>> or r u in church(i should be in church every friday and sunday)u know stuff like that..if u would like to do this email me at jorv1988@yahoo.com

Helps a lot to tie yourself up on study, work, hobbies and family. Keep the brain and body occupied so it won't wonder to the other things easily.

Over time that can help break the patterns and habits we all can lock ourselves into.

Yeah I'v been in your same boat man... I honestly... Just go play video games when i ge tthe urge. It gets my mind off it... That or go for a drive...

well just deleted all adult material stuff from my external hd.. making it my new years resolution, well this and working out gosh a gain weight..now if i could just fall asleep and not be up til 3 a.m :pray:

well its been around 2 weeks and im doing ok-ish. but i need to go a step further.. im going to install a adult guard to block any adult websites/content... i must remember my self that god will never put a challenge infort of me that i cant over come

Porn unfortunately is a hard habit to break. I still get messed up on the occasion

If you really think about it,it will make you sick too see it,most have no morals,use drugs and sleep with anyone.

oh man i hate to say this but about a week ago i did it again i caved in and started to download adult material.. but this time my lord and saver showed my some thought love. but thank to this thought love, now i know the man up there is keeping a eye from me and wants me to over come this.. ive started to clean up my act again but now ill be even more hard on my self. from now on ill have my rooms door open when online and ill be installing a parental control on my p.c and asking a friend to set the password so that theres no way i can ever get it removed. i have also started to work out and ive made myself into full time at work. i dont wanna see more of gods thought love again. just gentle love
