For many this is a time to be disapointed, as our country has chosen a new president who doesn't seem to be friendly to Christian values.
But we who call on Christ have reason to exersise our faith and good will
in our attitude, we keep our eyes on HIM and not on circumstances.
Afterall the Bible tells us

Heb 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

2 Cor 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

We know who is our victorious master of all, and we must act and think like He has instructed us; knowing that we have the answer.
Gratitude and thanksgiving for His care will show forth the bedrock of our hope no matter what the circumstances may look like.
Never give up the praising attitude no matter what feelings and circumstances tell you in your head. :pray:

Also remember that God is ultimately in control of who is in power here.

God has allowed this for some reason.

America needs a president that can communicate and inspire right now. Something that has been missing for a long time. Time will tell what he actually inspires.

He is now the elected leader of the American people, not just Democrats or minorities. ALL Americans.

Absolutely. Personally - I believe we will go through a period of testing whether the church will stand for it's biblical values or go with the flow.
God knows already what will happen but I think He is going to be asking us to show forth what we are going to do with the times and issues.
As a church body and as individuals who have to make choices.
Like those radio spots where you hear a disturbing noise and the announcer says "This is a test" and you are told to tune into a certain frequency in a real emergency. So - who are we going to tune into?

Yes, God is testing and the churches are failing.

The Body of Christ is loosing numbers, strength, knowledge and courage. No wonder the Rapture is near.

As the 6th church letter says, hold on to what little you have left. The strong have little left as in assets and ears that will listen.

He`s not my prez, and i`ll be waiting for him to swear in on the Bible and pledge allegiance to the US flag.
The man has ties to terrorist for God sake and we`re going to hand him all the top secret info of our government.
Hold on we`re going for a ride, at least they didn`t get control of the senate.

But why? The question I keep coming back to. I think that the woes in store are largely imagined. I can't see how things will change all that much. This guy is going to have his hands full solving the economic crisis. I presonally see Obama as a one term president. When the dust settles a bit, people will see he dosent have much to offer. Right now he is some what of a novelty!
I'm always amazed at how we Christians are always inventing crisis for ourselves.

all the best...

Its a crisis because he is not a Christian, his ideas are too liberal, and the people he associates with are too liberal. All these little things add up, KG. And they will keep adding up until we have completely broken the moral fiber of this country and turn into another Canada or EU. Secular states devoid of morality and religious principle.

You seem to have forgotten like most of the planet that the man sat in a church for 20 years and allowed himself to be influenced by one of the most hate filled liberal black pastors in Chicago. Sat there and allowed this man to influence his morality, accepted his conspiracy filled nonsense, and took spiritual advice from him.

If hes smart he will move back to center when he takes office.

Way it sounds he`s going to be tested sooner than he thought. Russia may test him to see how much guts he has a and the Palestinian Israel issue is heating up I believe.
I do belieave that he will fall short of what they thought they voted for.

If he does what is right is all that matters. If using force is the right choice then he better use it. Going back to the era of Clinton foreign policy and talk-talkin' to our enemies got us to 9/11/01.

Forget about catering to liberals and their ideologies. He needs to do what is best for the USA, not liberal agendas.
