I just got back from voting and it was a large turn out.
Just remember for us as Christians the often touted issues are not our issues. We stand for the person who comes the closest to Biblical values. God isn't very concerned about the economy - but He is concerned about the moral issues. Vote for the one who would put
moral people who stand for the Bible and the constitution on the supreme court, and in the appointed offices. These people are likely to be in office longer than a president and eventually make a bigger difference.
The biggest change for Christians in our nation werent mad by a president, they were made by the Supreme Court under judge Earl Warren.
That's where we lost the prayer and Bible in the schools and where we got abortion from, the courts.
This election will determine the moral direction of America, and we will all have to live with it one way or another.
God Bless and direct you!

A majority of people are not voting based on a candidate's morals any longer.

Its based on platitudes and promises and political savvy.

Every vote that I casted I researched. Every candidate and their backgrounds and morals. How they aligned with a biblical worldview. Yes it took some time, maybe a couple of hours of research but my conscience is at ease knowing I did the right thing by my God and my country.

If you are voting for just a winner or for your party then I dont believe you have really put any effort or care about the American political process at all. Its not a game.

Commercials and ads lie, you can gain nothing out of them, you have to do your own research as to who these people are. And if you can't find anything then that should tell you something right there.

Just like studying the bible. Its not going to just fall into your brain, you have to actually research and figure out what things mean and who people are, not just accept them because your political party approves them, or because you like them, or the way the look or because they talk magic words for your itching ears.

Well I am happy to see that there two of you who feel like I do about this issue.
I am passionate about the moral direction of this nation and culture, and I am saddened by the level of ignorance from which important decisions are being made.
I feel like the House Judiciary Committee did in 1854 when they made this statement -

Had the people, during the Revolution, had a suspicion of any attempt to war against Christianity, that Revolution would have been strangled in its cradle... In this age, there can be no substitute for Christianity... That was the religion of the founders of the republic and they expected it to remain the religion of their descendants.
-
They would be astonished at the issues we are dealing with and have regressed to .

I have studied hard and prayed hard over this one because this is an historic point of definition for the USA.
But no matter what - God is still in control !

I agree with ya all and think it`s all about what God see as far as the morals and decisions being made by people in this country.
IMO the country has been going down the drain for a long time and by what i`ve seen in this election i`m guessing we`re about ready to get flushed.:(
