They were the chosen ones. They were the future of the German Reich. Their commitment was to be complete. They would be formed into a German in his totality. They would be molded in a physical and intellectual direction as well as cultivated spiritually.

Schirach's goal in 1936 was to enroll the entire population of ten-year-olds throughout Germany into the Hitler Youth as a present for Hitler on his 47th birthday



The organization had experienced a bit of a slump after 1936 when participation had become mandatory. For many young Germans, HJ meetings and activities had simply become part of the weekly routine. The original mission of the HJ had been to bring Hitler to power.



An ominous new development within the Hitler Youth also appeared that year. HJ-Streifendienst (Patrol Force) units were formed, functioning as internal political police, maintaining order at meetings, ferreting out disloyal members, and denouncing anyone who criticized Hitler or Nazism including, in a few cases, their own parents.

Propaganda is the art of persuasion - persuading others that your 'side of the story' is correct. Propaganda might take the form of persuading others that your military might is too great to be challenged; that your political might within a nation is too great or popular to challenge etc. In Nazi Germany, Dr Joseph Goebbels was in charge of propaganda. Goebbels official title was Minister of Propaganda and National Enlightenment.



To ensure that everybody thought in the correct manner, Goebbels set up the Reich Chamber of Commerce in 1933. This organisation dealt with literature, art, music, radio, film, newspapers etc. To produce anything that was in these groups, you had to be a member of the Reich Chamber. The Nazi Party decided if you had the right credentials to be a member. Any person who was not admitted was not allowed to have any work published or performed. Disobedience brought with it severe punishments. As a result of this policy, Nazi Germany introduced a system of censorship. You could only read, see and hear what the Nazis wanted you to read, see and hear. In this way, if you believed what you were told, the Nazi leaders logically assumed that opposition to their rule would be very small and practiced only by those on the very extreme who would be easy to catch.




The ensure that everybody could hear Hitler speak, Goebbels organised the sale of cheap radios. these were called the "People's Receiver" and they cost only 76 marks. A smaller version cost just 35 marks. Goebbels believed that if Hitler was to give speeches, the people should be able to him. Loud speakers were put up in streets so that people could not avoid any speeches by the Fuhrer. Cafes and other such properties were ordered to play in public speeches by Hitler.

The mainstream media, with its pandering and fawning over Obama has crossed the line from news media to propagandist for the Obama campaign.

While the Major news media covers up for Obama, failing to run articles that even hint of anything negative, they are making a concerted effort to knife McCain in the back. This is no longer journalism; it is simply propaganda.

Now, six weeks away from the election, we have a man whose true leftist, liberal leanings have not been presented to this country. If fact, years of his life have been totally ignored by the biased news media in an effort to mislead the American public.

There has been NO investigation into his true relationship with domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. NO real questioning into his having been a member of a hate mongering racist church for twenty years. NO investigation into his ties with Frank Davis, his mentor, a communist. NO investigation into questions of a radical Muslim's having funded his Harvard education. NO investigation into how Obama rose so rapidly through the dirty Chicago politics machine with the support of Bill Daley, (see David Freddoso's book"). NO questions about his connections to Rezko and the shady real estate deal through which he bought his home. Even the drug use Obama alludes to has been downplayed. Has he stopped yet?

The "honorable" news media has chosen to ignore Obama's gaffes, many of which show him stammering and sputtering in reply to questions and instead focuses on McCain's blunders.

Team Obama has launched an offensive against WGN, the Chicago Tribune's radio station, for interviewing Stanley Kurtz. Mr. Kurtz is a conservative writer who this week forced the University of Illinois to finally open its records on Sen. Obama's association with William Ayers, the unrepentant 1970s Weather Underground terrorist.




Caller after caller to WGN read off talking points provided them by the Obama campaign alleging that Dr. Kurtz, and by implication and sometimes directly, Milt Rosenberg, was "smearing" Barack Obama and finding Obama "guilty by association." They also accused Kurtz of lying.


Yet, when pressed for specifics, these callers had none.

This gang of callers and emailers reminded me of the "turbas" - the street thugs organized by the Nicaraguan Sandinistas who would be deployed on a moment's notice to harass independent trade unionists, human rights activists and government critics during the Sandinistas' rule over Nicaragua in the 1980's. Hugo Chavez in Venezuela - a favorite haunt of Bill Ayers and other "Progressives for Obama" - uses similar bodies in Caracas neighborhoods.

Obama Camp Nazi Tactics, Obama Brownshirts, Threats, Freedom of Speech, Puma attacks, Democrat Delegates threatened

I received an important comment this morning. It is more of the same. Threats and attempts to silence those questioning Obama from the Nazi like Obama Camp. I have written several articles about the similarities between the Obama Campaign and Nazi Germany. These analogies are beginning to resonate with and frighten many people.

The comment made on this blog today refers to a Democrat Party Delegate being threatened to not speak out about Obama and another anti Obama website being shut down. Anyone following the Larry Sinclair story is aware of the unrelenting efforts by the Obama Camp to discredit and silence Sinclair . Here is the comment we received:

“This is important. There have been too many personal attacks on delegates that are Hillary Clintons. The Obama democrats have really gone too far. They think by demanding your vote as a delegate or you are thrown out for supporting Clinton will ensure that Obama has no problems. What are they so afraid of? They have been attacking PUMA websites.. another one down today. It is really sick to think they must cheat and steal and make death threats in the name of Obama. This just makes us stronger. We will not vote for him. Please follow this link and see the latest Delegate Problem. Please air these attacks and make it public. We have never seen McCain Supporters or Bush or even Bill Clinton supporters use these tatics to try and win an election. I think maybe America should fear a President Obama based on these tatics being used to silence Hillary Clinton Supporters. It is not right. And someone needs to speak out about it publicly! This is begining to feel like a war in the party.

Is Barack Obama the incarnation of Big Brother or does he fancy himself as a dictator or a divine right monarch? Perhaps he would prefer to be “President for Life” like Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe.

I was frightened and disturbed by the familiarity of the children’s campaign video that is circulating on the Internet. The exploitation of children for political purposes is nothing new, but Obama supporters have taken it to a sickening new low. If any other candidate or his supporters had staged a similar event, Obama’s leftist friends would report those responsible to the Department of Children and Family Services.

Watching the preschool students in the music video praising their leader is something that one might expect to see in a totalitarian state. Throughout the campaign, Obama has been accused of conducting events that look like a cross between a religious revival tent meeting and a Bund rally by others, but now I am beginning to believe it. There is something fundamentally dishonest and sinister about this campaign and something particularly thuggish about the methods that it is prepared to utilize to achieve its ends.

“Truth squads” are being organized to threaten Obama critics in Missouri. Despite Obama’s expertise as an adjunct constitutional law lecturer, he is prepared to suspend the First Amendment to muzzle his foes. Throughout the campaign, the Obama team has repeatedly threatened to subject its critics to legal prosecution and to report broadcasters to regulatory agencies that control their licenses.

In the Thirties, Erich Maria Remarque’s epic novel, “All Quiet on the Western Front” was adapted into an award winning motion picture by director Lewis Milestone. The scenes depicting the brutality of trench warfare were so authentic that for many years afterwards when historical documentaries were being assembled and genuine camera footage of the First World War could not be located segments from “All Quiet on the Western Front” were routinely substituted. Few, if any, viewers noticed the difference. The film had a strong antiwar and pacifist message that did not appeal to members of the National Socialist Party. When the film was exhibited in Weimar Germany, Brown Shirts disrupted the showings by vandalizing movie theaters and setting off smoke and stink bombs in the auditoriums.

Locally, the Obama campaign has used similar radical bully tactics to silence its critics and those with opposing viewpoints. For more than three decades Milt Rosenberg’s nightly radio program “Extension 720” has been a cultural and intellectual treasure. The program has addressed numerous topics and has never shied from away from discussing politics and contemporary affairs. Recently, the program attempted to conduct discussions with Stanley Kurtz and David Fredosso on separate nights. Kurtz has been researching Obama’s ties to William Ayers, the unrepentant Weatherman terrorist who paired up with Obama on the Annenberg Challenge project. Fredosso has written a controversial book, “The Case Against Barack Obama.”

Rather than engaging in an exchange of ideas, the Obama campaign refused to send representatives to participate in the radio panel discussion and actively solicited support from its followers to disrupt the telephone call in portion of the program. Instead of debating the facts, the Obama team chose to slander and libel its critics. The mean spirited attacks were coordinated by the campaign that circulated talking points and e-mails calling for Obama supporters to protest the program and to try to interrupt the broadcast call in segments. They even went so far as to launch ad hominem attacks against Professor Rosenberg. Rosenberg is, of course, a long term member of the University of Chicago faculty. Obama was an adjunct instructor at the same university, but that did not prevent his surrogates from maligning a university colleague.

Team Obama has even designated speakers to conduct outreach programs intended to deflect criticisms and concerns being raised about his candidacy in the Jewish community. In order to calm fears regarding Obama’s religious affiliation, some of the speakers have resorted to lying by describing Obama as a “life long Christian.” This can hardly be reassuring to supporters of Israel who find fault with Obama’s elastic rhetoric on Middle East policy.

If you believe this, Barry Soetoro (the name that Obama formerly used while residing in Jakarta) was never registered to attend school as a Muslim student while living with his mother and stepfather in Indonesia nor did he accompany his stepfather to prayer services at a local mosque. None of his biological father’s relatives are Muslims either. Obama’s mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, who has been variously described as an atheist, an agnostic or a secular humanist. Now, she is a simple Kansas farm girl and the second coming of Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz.”

According to the Brothers Grimm, the Pied Piper caused the children of Hamelin to follow him away from their village. The children disappeared and were never seen again.

One historical fact that has eluded most Americans, thanks to the illiberal education they receive in school and from the infotainment media, is that fascism has always been popular among so-called "progressives" – despite their tendency to mislabel and mischaracterize their political opponents as followers of the national socialist ideology.

Benito Mussolini was nearly worshipped by the left in his time. It was only Adolf Hitler who gave fascism a bad name with progressives – and then not until he broke the Molotov-Ribbentrop non-aggression pact with Josef Stalin and their adored Soviet Union.

That's why I fear fascism today much more than I fear communism.

Communism is a withered old discredited religion with few observers left besides balding political science professors at American colleges and universities.

It's fascism we need to guard against, to be vigilant about opposing, to recognize and fight at every turn if we want to preserve any vestige of freedom in our republic and around the world.

What is fascism

It is a thoroughly socialist ideology that feeds on class warfare and sustains itself on authoritarianism or even totalitarianism, central economic planning, subsidies of favored "private" businesses and something we're seeing more and more of in the United States today – so-called "public-private partnerships."

One thing very important to understand – fascism is not a right-wing ideology; it is a left-wing ideology. It always has been and always will be. It is about statism, not individualism.

Throughout history, it has often been characterized as a "third way" between capitalism and communism. Now who have you heard use that term in contemporary company? It is a popular euphemism for fascism employed today by the likes of Bill and Hillary Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama.

The big bailout of the mortgage industry is an excellent illustration of a fascist economic concept. It's about utilitarianism, not principal – pragmatism, not morality.

Another characteristic of fascism is intimidation, coercion, bullying tactics and a self-righteousness that leads its followers to believe the rules simply don't apply to them. The end justifies the means. People working on behalf of the cause are to be excused from accountability for any excesses. In fact, they would find it hard to believe they could ever commit excesses.

We got a whiff of this kind of fascism in Missouri last week when Obama partisans in various law-enforcement capacities pledged publicly to use their official police powers to go after anyone they believed to be unfairly portraying their candidate in political advertising.

In other words, they decided to throw the First Amendment out the window.

St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, along with Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign, Sen. Claire McCaskill, pledged to form a so-called "truth squad" to stop any political advertising that claimed the Democratic presidential candidate was anything other than a devout Christian or that he planned to cut taxes for all Americans earning less than $250,000 a year.

The campaign was not limited to Missouri, either. The Gestapo tactics included sending "threatening" letters to several news agencies in Pennsylvania and Ohio demanding they stop airing ads exposing Obama's gun stance, according to the National Rifle Association.

As Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt put it bluntly: "The only conceivable purpose … is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate … to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election."

It was and is an amazing story, really. Take it from someone who tracks amazing stories for a living. This one took my breath away. I implore you to watch the local television news report that first brought this story to my attention.

This, my friends, is the way fascism works. This is the way it creeps into our lives. Acceptance of this kind of police-state tactic leaves us but an election or crisis away from descent into the netherworld of political barbarism. The brown shirts are at the door, once again.

Obama Wages War on Freedom of Speech

Last week the Governor of Missouri, Matt Blunt, issued a statement on the Obama campaign’s “abusive use of Missouri law enforcement.” What was striking about the allegations Blunt made was the eerie parallel between the Obama camp’s activity and the Organization of the Islamic Conference’s efforts to stifle all criticism of Islam and destroy the freedom of speech -- also by means of legal intimidation -- at the UN and elsewhere.

Blunt charged that four Missouri state officials along with the leader of Obama’s campaign in Missouri “have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.” In declaring an intent to prosecute those who spread what they considered to be falsehoods about Obama, they were, said Blunt, “abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.”

Such behavior, said Blunt, was “scandalous beyond words.” Obama and his supporters, he said, were trying to “frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election.”

“Barack Obama,” he declared, “needs to grow up.”

Maybe he does, but what is most disturbing about this Missouri incident is that it takes place just as defenders of free speech are fighting a United Nations resolution called “Combating the Defamation of Religion.” The non-binding resolution, introduced by the 57-nation Organization of the Islamic Conference, “notes with deep concern the intensification of the campaign of defamation of religions and the ethnic and religious profiling of Muslim minorities in the aftermath of 11 September 2001” and “stresses the need to effectively combat defamation of all religions and incitement to religious hatred, against Islam and Muslims in particular.”

The U.S. government opposes the resolution, pointing out that “defamation-related laws have been abused by governments and used to restrict human rights.”

But how long will this American opposition last? If Barack Obama values free speech so little, as this Missouri episode suggests, it is not at all beyond the realm of possibility that if he becomes president, he will acquiesce to the OIC’s attempts to criminalize criticism of Islam, and pressure the Supreme Court (to which he will probably appoint several key members) to declare a “hate speech” exemption to First Amendment protections.

And what about the liberals’ favorite anti-free speech tool, the Fairness Doctrine? Nancy Pelosi has said she’d like to re-impose the Orwellian-named “doctrine” to make sure that conservative talk radio will be “balanced” -- hour by hour, minute by minute -- by liberal talk radio. Can anyone doubt that a President Obama would sign legislation reviving the Fairness Doctrine?

Obama’s campaign has said he doesn’t support return of the Fairness Doctrine because it’s supposedly a distraction. Last February Obama’s press secretary, Michael Ortiz, said, “He considers this debate to be a distraction from the conversation we should be having about opening up the airwaves and modern communications to as many diverse viewpoints as possible. That is why Sen. Obama supports media-ownership caps, network neutrality, public broadcasting, as well as increasing minority ownership of broadcasting and print outlets."

OK: so Obama doesn’t support the 1934 version of the Fairness Doctrine and wants to modernize it to suit modern liberal interests.

Will the modernized Obama Fairness Doctrine happen? I hope not. I pray not. But can it happen? After reading this story out of Missouri, I am beginning to wonder if maybe it can in an Obama Presidency. An attorney has recently assured me that precedents protecting free speech in American law are very thick on the ground and will be hard to overturn. In fact, he maintained that they would be impossible to overturn. Still -- is this speculation, and that is certainly all that it is, really that far beyond reasonable possibility? Already those who discuss the jihad threat in its full dimensions honestly and openly are ostracized, marginalized and vilified.

If candidate Obama is willing to have people arrested when they say things about him that he doesn’t like, will President Obama have the vision or courage or understanding to stand up against the OIC when it demands restrictions on freedom of speech at precisely the same time that he wants to build bridges to the Islamic world and demonstrate his power to restore hope and bring change to old stalemated conflicts?

So maybe Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham and a few miserable “Islamophobes” get silenced, fined, arrested, imprisoned, whatever. What’s the big deal? Peace will then march on unimpeded. At least just as it did before 1776.

The Danger of a Super-majority

There has been a great deal of concern over the possibility of Barack Obama winning the White House in the November 4th election. In the past few weeks, I’ve received dozens of emails from people frustrated over how one of the most liberal senators is getting a free ride to the White House.

There has been very little media coverage of what could prove to be a far more dangerous political development. Polls indicate that the Democrats have a good chance of expanding their congressional majorities past the point of having a filibuster-proof Senate.

“This would be one of the most profound political and ideological shifts in U.S. history. Liberals would dominate the entire government in a way they haven't since 1965, or 1933. In other words, the election would mark the restoration of the activist government that fell out of public favor in the 1970s. If the U.S. really is entering a period of unchecked left-wing ascendancy, Americans at least ought to understand what they will be getting, especially with the media cheering it all on” (Wall Street Journal, 17 Oct. 2008).

The founding fathers created a system of checks and balances to block an aspiring dictator from seizing total control of the government. No U.S. president has the power to reshape the laws of our nation. If someone like Adolf Hitler were elected to office, he couldn’t implement a fourth Reich alone. The president can propose a budget and legislation, but he cannot force Congress to accept them.

During both previous times when there was a super-majority, it was possible to rewrite the rules at will. Franklin Delano Roosevelt gave us the New Deal and Lyndon Johnson created the Great Society--just fancy words for socialism.

The Democratic party of today is far more liberal than it was during any previous super-majority. I can’t imagine FDR addressing the virtues of gay marriage in one of his radio chats. Mr. Obama has long supported gay unions. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is the representative of America ’s Sodom and Gomorrah: San Francisco. I doubt the gay lobby will have any trouble getting her support.

You can be certain that the Democrats have a very long list of liberal proposals that they would love to see become part of the law of the land. Here are just five of them:

- The fairness doctrine – Backers of the fairness doctrine argue that because the airwaves are a scarce resource, they should be policed by federal bureaucrats to ensure that all viewpoints are heard. Liberals point to conservatives' dominance of talk radio as the reason radio stations should be forced to give time to left-wing commentators. Liberals have already monopolized TV, newspapers, and Hollywood. A domination of media is a hallmark of any despot seeking dictatorial rule.

- Union supremacy – Unions have been in decline for several decades. One of the key reasons is that they have a negative impact on business productivity. In a highly competitive world, unionized firms tend to fall behind. Democrats love unions because they are a good way to control large blocks of people with promises of government incentives.

- Medicare for all – The U.S. is already facing a calamity from the future entitlements promised to the baby boom generation. That bill will amount to $44 trillion. The idea of expanding the scope of Medicare makes me wonder if the Democrats are part of a secret plan to bankrupt this nation.

- Homosexual rights – Gays already have equal rights. The next step in this moral slide would be to make this sin protected from rebuke. In many European nations, it is a hate crime to quote the Bible’s view of homosexuality.

- The green agenda – Any plan to protect the earth seems like a noble cause, but “you don’t have to dig very deep to discover the true beliefs of the influential leaders who are using genuine concerns about the environment to promote an agenda of fear and control” (http://green-agenda.com). A few years back, Al Gore narrowly missed getting a BTU tax on everything that used energy. If his democratic buddies gain control of the government, you can bet the Environmental Pope is going to be back.

One of the disadvantages of being close to the time of the rapture is that we may witness some rather shocking changes in our form of government. If liberals are swept into super-majority power, there will be nothing to bar them from enacting these proposals. We can take comfort in knowing we will soon be rescued by a special Someone who will stand solidly for liberty and righteousness.

Electing God’s Way

This presidential election has come down to one issue, according to most pundits who pontificate on the process of electing the nation’s top leader. It’s the same as the time of electioneering that first brought Bill Clinton to the presidency. “It’s the economy, stupid,” was the slogan that powerfully influenced the outcome for the Democrats of that election. It is the issue of economy that is driving the polls toward electing this political season’s ultimate winner.

Pocketbook exigencies once again are the focus of American voters. Money is what most of us believe to be the “natural” concern, because our lives--within United States society and culture--revolve around the ability to buy, sell, and influence others in that commercial process. If nothing else, the current economic crisis demonstrates that America and the world have become an inextricably linked fiscal entity. Global economics brings about through computers, satellites, and lightning-fast communications of other kinds a one-world financial community. This structure is geared toward electing governments based upon what they promise to do in making our lives monetarily richer. Economy is the primary criterion in considering for whom to cast our ballot. But, this is electioneering humanism’s way, thus Satan’s way, not God’s way.

God’s Word affirms without reservation what should be mankind’s priorities for conducting life while upon this fallen sphere. Not one of those top priorities includes figuring in the love of money and what money can do for making our lives better, in the sense the Creator of all things defines the term “better.” As a matter of fact, the Scripture tells us that the love of money is the root of all evil –not of anything good.

Yet economy is again, like always, at the top of concern for the American voter. Thus, economy is the top politicking point for those who seek office in order to continue to use government to tell us what is “better” for us than God or anyone else can determine.

Conversely, electing leaders God’s way is electing to choose the moral over the financial –and every other factor that involves our personal or national lives. God’s way is to elect righteousness over comfort, expediency, or the pursuit of pleasures--whether civilized or debauched. We are promised that if we pray for those leaders, we are more likely to lead peaceable lives.

Of course, God gave this prescription for living righteously to those who know Him--i.e., those who are in His eternal family through accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior. They are called the Ten Commandments, and all of those prescriptive ingredients for living righteously were fulfilled by Jesus, who came to earth from heaven to provide the only way to God the Father for reconciliation and redemption.

Again, not one of those commandments glorifies or aggrandizes the accumulation or administration of earthly wealth. Jesus said that at the apex of that list of prescriptives for electing to embrace righteousness over monetary or any other of life’s ingredients is: “…Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” (Matt. 22:37).

No matter how attractive the candidate in this or any presidential, state, or local election, the prescription for electing righteousness is always in play for the Christian. No matter the appeal of the promises to add money to the voter’s financial coffers, electing God’s way is to choose righteousness over all other considerations. Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind. That is the top priority, according to the Lord of heaven.

Loving God with all of our hearts, souls, and minds means choosing what He considers righteous, not what we consider comfortable, expedient, or pleasurable. So, using this template for electing God’s way rather than the humanistic (Satan’s) way, when going into the voting booth, we must look at the issues, candidates, and the political parties with God’s righteous instructions in mind.

With all of that brought into the picture for the presidential election in which you and I are about to cast our ballots, I remind you that we must look past the humanistic issues. We must go directly to the most important questions involved in this election milieu–God’s priority issues involving His righteousness. No two issues are more prominent in that regard than those that news provocateurs want left out of the mix this election year. These are issues surrounded by God’s righteousness. And, neither Rapture Ready, Todd, nor I, are going to be deterred. Abortion and homosexuality are those two primary issues. God’s Word says that the shedding of the blood of innocents is something He hates. Murdering 50 million babies in the wombs of their mothers is shedding the blood of innocents of the most heinous sort.

God calls homosexuality an abomination. He hates that lifestyle (not the individuals involved in that lifestyle) so much that He included in His Law for the Jewish people the command that all who participate in that lifestyle be put to death. I didn’t say that those who engage in that lifestyle be put to death; the God of heaven, in His Word, the Bible, said it.

To the Christian–the person reading this who has been born again into the family of God through the shed blood of Christ (and that’s the only way anyone can come into God’s family), I can tell you upon scriptural authority that you must never support a candidate, nor a political party, that is in favor of abortion in any form, or who supports in any fashion making homosexuality an acceptable human activity in America or anywhere else on the planet.

Elect God’s way, rather than fallen mankind’s way, when you step into the booth this election season.
