When ever I head out into the world and talk to people and Christianity, God, religion or Jesus some how pops into the conversation I am always taken away. I am taken away by how many who say they are Christians say they don't have to read the Bible or pray to prove to anyone that they believe (sounds like me a little over a year ago), or those who say they don't need any religion and they are fine and comfortable not even thinking about it. How many who are Catholic that refer to God as her hmmm I am unknowing now where does this come from? Many that say oh some day I might give it a try but I see no reason now. Than still many who go after other gods.

I know this has been happening ever since but to me going out and talking to people, its seriously like finding a needle in a hay stack to find someone that says they know God and who He is, believe in Jesus and believe in reading the Bible and praying. Believe in the Bible as what God gave it to us for.

What do these people think with not reading the Bible and to just believe and have that be o.k. ? Well I should know because my past is a good example of that. But even though I was there, now here I sit today, it wasn't that long ago I don't understand my old self. Thats what I used to live and I don't understand it. I wonder if that is because of Jesus washing me clean? Has to be, no other explanation. Has to be the life He has given me.

Things are progressing with a quickness in this world aren't they? With the way I see things happening in our country recently I wonder if God had let things rise up so our nation would soon fall. Some of the stuff we are reading recently is shocking.

a needle in a haystack.... very well put!

I dont understand folks and their thinking and its very diverse.
and some have the oddest beliefs.

I dont know what will happen with our nation.
only that the Lord is in control and He does know.

for a long long time before you were even born,
christianity here has been a lot of pretense.
something to be used as a means to a end for the world.

although there are genuine ones around, we are far and few between I believe.

A lot of feel goodism. Grabbing the title as if it makes it real or just looks good to others.

Some treat the title as if it were a bloodline. They were born into a non-Jewish family so therefore they are "christian". It has become a very watered down designation.

all the best...

I have seen that a lot too Kaygee.

And I know what you mean Core.

And Jessie I know, we see more and more new religions pop up.

Heres something I wonder. Later when God takes one and leaves the other (two women working together in a field) I wonder if there will be so few left to be taken and so many left who say "well it can't be that because I'm a christian and I'm still here" that they will just write it off as who knows what.

Yeah, I agree with what you're saying. People know God is there, but only a few have felt his presence. Reading the bible shows some sort of commitment, but dedicating your entire life to Jesus is a completely different thing.

Yep. Head verses heart knowledge. Big difference.
