I have just got done reading 1 Kings 11. I cannot believe all the wives Solomon had but most of all I can't believe the way he started to worship other gods and built things for the other gods as well. I didn't see this coming with Solomon. :swoon: Kinda came as a shock to me so I had to post.
O.k. reading on.

When I read this part it spoke loud and I tried to go to sleep ,LOL for 5 minutes , but it kept bugging me because of what it speaks so I had to share.
1 Kings 13 The man of God was told from the Lord to not eat bread or drink water with king Jeroboam. The king invited the man of God to do so and he said no and said what The Lord had told him and went on his way as directed by God. But the king had a donkey saddled and went down the road to find the man of God. He again asked him to come and eat and the man said no. The king lied and said an angel told him to do so and to come back and eat and drink with him. So the man of God went.
The thing here is that we must listen to God no matter what others may say or play something off to be "just eat with me its just bread and water". If God says no he says no and if we don't listen we defy God and He will turn us over to the lion. I found this so catching and full of His Wisdom because it made me think of another thread we have going on here at CTZ.
I also can't believe even after this Jeroboam went on doing evil. He knew it was a man of God and saw the proof and mourned for the man but it didn't change him.

Those that do not want to be persuaded cannot be persuaded.
Just look at Satan. He knew and fell.
