In Leviticus I see a lot of things God had made. Now if everything was and is His, why did he care to have things made, what was the significance of them, besides the alter or tent?
With the offerings for different things why was it instructed so specifically on how to do it, what animal for each offering, male or female, and how it supposed to be dealt out pieces and parts of the animals? Its kinda gruesome with the whole blood splattering on the sides of the alter, I don't get that part. can you help me understand the significance? What was happening while the offering was being burnt?
Now it says in the bible there are different offerings like sin and fellowship for example. Now Jesus obviously was the final sacrifice for our sins, was He also the final sacrifice for all offerings of the OT including fellowship? He says "No one comes to the Father except through me". We as Christians know Jesus covers all beyond a doubt but I asked because this is the first time I have read about different sacrifices in the OT and specifics so this is all new to me. I didn't know they sacrificed animals for each different thing.
