What ya riding Willy?
I think I would actually ride that bike, but I found that pic on a vintage Harley site.
http://www.khulsey.com/motorcycles/vintage_motorcycle_harley-davidson.html
... thought you might enjoy!!
The little smile on a bike, I thought would be a smile not the whole page. Thought you might get a kick out of it.
I've ridden dirt bikes since I was a kid. Last one I bought was an 86 Honda XR200R. Put a Supertrapp exhaust on it to give it a little more power. A very reliable bike. Still got it out on a trailer in the garage. Anything bigger is too heavy to carry out if you get into trouble. Don't get out as much as when I was younger but still love riding the old logging roads up in the local mountains on Vancouver Island. Hundreds of miles with no cars. Lots of lakes full of trout.
God Bless,
Willy
p.s. You got a pic of your bike? Love to see it. :tiphat:

If i remember right......... the Lord had been prodding me for a long time trying to get my attention. I had a room mate in the Air Force that became born again and I ended up kicking him out because I didn`t want to hear it. My guardian angle has saved my bacon so many times from killing myself on bikes, bar fights and general all around drunken meanness I can`t count the times.
That was back in the early 70`s and went on until the early 80`s when my salvation took place. I have an old riding buddy that committed to Christ in 1980 so he was riding me about it bad but I was still fighting it.
Then one evening we went over to his place and a baptist preacher was there, cool guy and I liked him. We were sitting at the kitchen table and he took a quarter from his pocket and slid it over in front of me and said here you can have it. My first thought was insult and I pushed it back and said I don`t want your quarter. He slid it back over and I slid it back, on about the third or fourth time I said fine then i`ll take your dern quarter. He looked at me and said, son that`s how easy it is to accept Christ, all you have to do is give in and take what He is offering.
We then prayed and at that moment I became His and the Lord took drinking out of me right then and there. My buddy had that quarter taped to the wall for years.
That`s about it on how I came to changing my life, there`s a lot more up and down story but that will have to be another time.
Praise God for choosing me as one of His and sticking with me all these years.
When your kind of a black sheep and on your own most your life it takes the power of God to bring ya out of the world and into the light. :yowza:

God bless you Wind,
I am blessed reading how God saved you!
Willy
Romans 5:6-11
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
And not only [so], but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Thanks for sharing that ITW! That was really nice to hear. People don't share there stories too often and I think they should. It shows just how powerful God is and it shows who He is. I am joyful you listened to Him the same I am joyful my stubborn heart finally listened to Him. to my family!

Yeah and I see it even before I got into my years of mess. Its like He knew I was going to go in that direction and bring myself so low before I would look to Him. So its like He set me up with something in the back of my mind before I went down so when I got to my lowest I would look to Him to lift me up and out. Amazing how He works. Its amazing for me to think that from the beginning He had me in mind as His and had plans for me and neither I nor Satan could ruin His plans. Actually Satan only and still does just push me closer to God and proves Gods existence and Truth.
