Do you know if you can make a will without having to spend money. One that will hold up in court? I just want to have us make one for our daughter so if we both die she won't go to the states care.

At the very least write out your wishes and both sign and have it notarized, try doing a web search about it also. We had one made up by a lawyer and it cost 300 bucks so it ain`t cheap. I`m no expert on the matter so don`t rely on my reply.

Yea they can get expensive.
The paid for are best since they probate quickly. But any written, dated, signed and witnessed paper will stand up in court. Just find a will and use it as a guideline.
See if any of these (http://www.wise4living.com/lwill/online-will.html) help.

Hi
I'm new to the forum so hope it's ok for me to reply here. I have recently been looking in to how to go about writing a will and came across this website on moneysavingexpert website (although guessing you're in America).. but maybe it'll help somehow as there may be something similar in America!?
