Songs of Songs

I am beginning to read the Song of Songs. How should it be read?

See what I mean is what is the beloved, friend ect...

It is viewed in several way.

I look at it as a literal love story to a woman and a figurative of God's love and relationship if Israel.

Israel is called the wife of God and I believe that is an eternal relationship between those of the covenant of Israel and the Father, as Church (covenant) is bride/wife of Christ.

Currently Israel is the divorced, cast out, wife, who will be taken back in the 70th Week/Trib.
