Haven`t posted this in a while, it`s pretty cool.

Center of the Bible.

What is the shortest chapter in the Bible? (Answer-Psalms 117)

What is the longest chapter in the Bible? (Answer-Psalms 119)

Which chapter is the center of the Bible? (Answer-Psalms 118)

Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118
Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118

Add these numbers up and you get 1188
What is the center verse in the Bible? (Answer-Psalms118.8)

Does this verse say something significant about God`s perfect will for our lives?

The next time someone says they would like to find God`s will for their lives and that they want to be in the center of His will, just send them to the center of His Word!

Psalms 118.8(NKJV) "It is better to trust the Lord than to put confidence in man."

Now isn`t that odd how this worked out.
(Or was God in the center of it)?

Oh Kaygee I hope your not trying to say what I think your trying to say. :sob:
This is not mans word but Gods Word. I am saddened to see your view of the bible. God breathed means Gods voice. Look at the wording in many places. He is directly talking to us. "I God say this or that".

Come on, you know thats a lie from Satan himself; its not mans wording or thoughts. Gods and Gods only. Remember God is God and does not operate like us. Whats going on Kaygee? I am a little concerned! Please don't turn your back, please don't write things off.

Please don't be offended in any way, but prayers going out to you.

a.baker...huge misunderstanding I think. I meant that the bible was divided into chapters and verses by men. As late as the 9th century. The bible was at one time a continuous text. A compilation of letters. The chapters and verses were devised to facillate study of the bible. You seriously did not think that Paul and the others sat there and after every sentence or two gave it a number?

all the best...

So Kay-Gee then if your right man must of figured out what the center of the bible was as they put the books together.
