My daughter has some pain and is hurting. She is making it worse. Just started tonight but could turn into something serious. Please pray that she gets better and is brave to face the pain head on so it doesn't get worse. Very touchy subject to such a little girl and she doesn't understand too much but is trying to.

She has a bladder infection or infection from a long bath she had playing with shaving cream and won't pee or drink. I am pretty sure it is from the shaving cream since I first introduced it yesterday for bath time and she took a long bath. I have an at home remedy the internet suggested using baking soda and mixing it into bath water and letting her soak in it for 20 min. and of course plenty of fluids. I have no car tonight and so I am hoping the gas station has some baking soda... But she was in tears having to go potty and wouldn't go because of the pain and of course now its terrible itches for her down there. So she made the decision of going to bed without going potty.

I'm sorry I know this may seem insignificant but for me being her mom and seeing her in tears of pain and not being to help is hard. I can't make her be brave but I can comfort all I can. If needed she may have to go to the doctors. Me and her prayed about this together.

Please pray she heals fast and does what she needs to to get better.

No more baths with shaving cream, thats for sure.

Guess what! God answered our prayers and she woke up this morning with no pain or itches and seems all better! We are doing the baking soda soak bath anyways. I think she is starting to see how God hears our prayers, is with us and will help us in times of need. :yowza:

It was weird. I was about to walk to the gas station but it was raining and lightening outside. I was going to go anyways to see if they had baking soda. Right before I went out the door my husband called me and asked me if the weather was weird. I said nothing but your usual thunder storm. And he said because there are tornado warnings every where. So I stayed home and he brought some home with him. I think I was to not walk to the store for a good reason. It was weird and awfully coincidental he called me. I think God was watching out for me for a reason.

a bath with shaving cream? I can't avoid the temptation. I simply gotta ask. What is the deal with that exactly?

all the best...

Its so fun to put on your hair or toys and to color with it on the bath walls, or play with it like your cooking. I remember when I was a kid my mom would give me shaving cream to play with. It sparks imagination.
