Hey guys, correct me if i am wrong at any point,.According to history, our denomination, the protestants, came after Martin Luther King went against the Roman Catholic Church.... Which is around 1000+ years after Jesus's death. And our bible is different than that of the Catholics... Historically, they were here first, so why is our bible different than that of theirs?

Stand corrected.

The Church began with just Christians, no denomination.

The RCC actually didn't come into existence until centuries later. And it came by political power, not the Gospel.

The Catholic Bible didn't exist for centuries after the original writings had begun to be passed around between churches.

Martin Luther King didn't go against the RCC, Martin Luther did in the early 1500s.

Speaking for myself, I am not a Protestant or Catholic. Protestants are denominations formed by believers that split from the RCC. My tradition never belonged to either, they were Bible only and non-denominational.

You sure you want to ask? Here (http://www.godandscience.org/apologetics/bibleorigin.html) is a condensed version.

What I would add is that manuscript fragments dating before 100AD have also been found and that the Byzantine Manuscripts date from 300AD on because they were generated by the Catholic Church. But bear in mind the RCC of that day in no way resembled that of today, but it had its problems upon which grew the RCC we see now.
