I know a.baker, i just got done telling my wife that if i could trade lives with someone that is dying and wanted to live i would. I`m so sick of this world and the uncaring jerks that are in it i`m miserable.
Everyday proves to me that the Lord is at the door and coming for us real soon.
Lord i ask you to lift up a.baker, put her under your wing and make her feel safe. Father i know you know she needs your comfort and are on your way to her.
In Jesus name I pray.:hug:

Just a little bit of everything once again. People, housing situation, car and job.
You know we try so hard and look to the Lord and try to think positive and everything seems to crumble and you have to start all over again. You think; I'm almost there I can relax and enjoy and than boom. I feel like I just got out of the eye of a storm and here it all is again. And what a perfect time for Satan to come a poking at me again. When I am down and out he comes and takes a stab too. We all know who is in control and I am so greatful for Him. I tell ya only with Jesus can we have the strength to keep truckin' on.
Thank you so much for your prayers   !!! Sometimes I feel like a wounded solider walking in the dessert with the heat from the sun beating on me. But I see the Lord ahead and I keep my sight on Him and keep trying to get there. I don't know how else to describe it.

Your last line there is profound and insight-ful, and should serve as a reminder to all of us. It's is obvious to all that your faith is genuine, and that God is going to sustain you. Think of OT Joseph. For most his life, he must have been thinking..."What is going on Lord?"....But he kept on trucking and was faithful to God to his last breath.

I posted about how the US got to the condition it`s in because of how Jesus is pushed out, in fact i posted some of lighthouses great posts about it.
Well just went there and because one person doesn`t agree and isn`t a Christian the thread was locked.:swoon:
Every day is a challenge for me anymore, ya get one thing resolved and boom something else is said or something breaks.
I`d like to say something and i think this is a good place and time, i`m convinced that the more of a Christian you are the more Satan will attack you. If you are truly born again i think your life will be a total hell so to speak. I have had people tell me that`s non sense because we have authority over Satan and we don`t have to let him get to us.
I tend to disagree, i have seen so many times just after a person accepts Christ something bad will happen to discourage them. I think just like the disciples that the more you love and proclaim Christ the more you are going to suffer. I think every one of the Churches and preachers out there that are saying how great your life can be and how you can have anything you want are total lies and deception, there`s always money attached to their message.
Myself i will keep fighting the good fight of faith and expect nothing less than to struggle through every day of my life until i die or the Lord comes for me. You see Satan i win in the end, i`ll be laughing at you in the lake of fire for eternity. :yowza:

The liberal way. Everything goes unless you disagree with them. Then you are out, out, out!

You nailed it there ITW. Gotta just keep on trucking. I dont want anyone to tink that bad stuff doesn't happen to me. I just try to not let it take me out. And part of the way I do that is by positive thinking. As soon as I lose that, then I am dead in the water. It is how I cope. I would never suggest for a moment, that the Christian walk is a rose garden. I am not any more blessed, materially or in anyway, because of my Christianity. In fact, at the feet of such a Holy and Awesome God, I am not even deserving of my next breath!

Thank you, my intent for the post though is in hopes to show a.baker that we all are suffering and that the good news is it`s because we are such powerful witnesses and Satan and the world hates that.
A.baker and all the rest of us will get through the hard times because our Lord delivers when times get tough and He knows we need help.
May God be with us all and give us strength.:pray:

You nailed it ITW! The closer we get to God and the more we know Him the harder Satan works. It is a war for our souls. And anyone who doesn't see that is blinded in some way. Gods message and wisdom in the bible is huge! I have no idea for words to describe it except to tell others to read it for themselves. The more I read, the more I learn and understand. God is placing His wisdom in me through His word. I have prayed for that and He is giving me abundantly which means Satan snares more at me and gets angrier with me so attacks harder the next time. He sees I listen to God so his tricks won't work so he whams me with other things. Its a non stop battle. And you know Satan has his people too.
I am not where Job was (I think thats his name) in the bible but I feel like it a lot. Some times I feel like David as he calls to the Lord for all these men that surround him and what they did or are doing. And it is uplifting to see I am not alone in seeing God for who He is, sticking to His Word and holding it close to my heart for these battles. I am not the only who is suffering for His name. It is a part of Gods wisdom for us to know how weak we are and how much we need Him.
You know I read a little every day in the OT to learn but I have to nonstop remind my heart of the NT and read it too. This is the armor God told us to put on. We as Christians come together in unity for this fight and that also helps us with our strength for the battle. We are attacked daily; some light and some heavy but daily.
I am so glad to have you all to come to and to share Jesus for what He biblically is and what He did for us all and to cope with whats going on around us and looking forward for whats to come. I feel God created blood family for a reason, but more importantly He created His family for a purpose and it is good.

Just opened my bible to be directed to something and this is what God has shown me today.
1 Peter 4:12-19 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ , so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name. For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And,
"If it is hard for the righteous to be saved,
what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?"
So then, those who suffer according to God's will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

I agree and disagree with some of the advice given and statements made about this subject. The truth is that we do have problems and that from time to time we are called upon to suffer, but we also need to remember that our Father loves us and that He desires to Bless Us and this is not about money, this is about a Father who owns the world and everything in it and wants to take care of his children just like you and I want to take care of our children. I also don't think that it is God's will for us to think that we are just barely getting by, I believe that Jesus came so that we could have life and have it more abunduntly. In your time of need petition the Farher in the name of Jesus and ask Him specifically for what you need and believe what you ask for. May God Truly Bless You in Jesus Name.

Yes, ask and believe. But understand there is no guarantee of receiving while on this old earth.
Christians in the West are spoiled to a large degree. Ask one in an Islamic nation how easy and conflict free life can be. Or China and such countries.
God never promised anyone smooth sailing until eternity. Never.
We can be fully at peace in our spirits over eternal issues while getting crunched by earthly ones.
