I need prayer please

Please pray for me , I am struggling with a sin that I thought I had under control, I have been praying constantly to not be led into it , but to keep me from any situation that might be to much for me to bear. But I keep putting myself in it. This is almost to much for me to take and I feel so far from the Lord , I need prayer to bring me to a place of true repentance . I never thought I would be here , in this place so full of sin again, but here I am and I really need your help. I dont even feel worthy to pray for myself.

That brokeness and contriteness is what the Lord favors. You know the Bible says that a broken and contrite heart the Lord will not despise. :hug:

The only way to win victory is to continue to wage war against it. Warfare isn't easy... it can be very hard. But remember, you have an advocate with the Father. When I sin and feel as you are feeling right now, it gives me great comfort that He KNEW I would fail when He saved me. That's why we need a Savior.

It sounds like you've already humbled yourself before our Heavenly Father, now talk to Him...bear your heart to Him and trust Him. He's not ready to kick you in the head. He is waiting.

I feel the same way. It is so easy to take up old things, particularly since I have parachuted myself into a culture that condones and thrives on those things. I suppose the struggle never ends
check out Romans 7 vs 14 thru the end of the chapter.
God knows what is happening. He isnt going to desert you. I think that is the hardest part for us to get our minds around

Maybe you should talk to someone about this, a Christian counselor of some sort. It helps to bring tese things out, so help can be delivered and forgiveness and healing can begin. The Lord will neither leave you nor forsake you. You simply have to trust Him on that.

Thank you for all your prayers , I spoke to a friend today and confessed all, she is a good christian women and will be there to hold me accountalbe. Now I have to work on cleaning up my mess , hardest thing I have ever done , but my mess to clean . If you would please continue to hold me up in prayer , I have a war going on inside me right now between what I want and what the right thing to do is , I have taken steps in the right direction today but I am still very weak.

:hug: :pray: Roman8 I am struggling with something much different but I feel the same as you in being weak. I finally met by boss tonight and there is something about this woman that made my stomach sour ; something about her presence. I am not sure but I have never seen this in another person before. Her eyes are cold and empty and vicious seeming. Like she has her claws out ready to grab ya. She doesn't smile and loves authority and control big time!!! I saw her today for the first time and I bottled up. I was so scared of her. Just something about her; a chilling darkness. So I basically had to smile and nod but inside I bottled up and I wanted to hide. My stomach still kinda hurts and that was hours ago. Definitely nerves from being scared no question there.

I'm sorry maybe this isn't much help but I just wanted to show you even though its something different how we are all weak. But Thats Gods wisdom showing us we need Him to make it through. We have these temptations and tests and sometimes we fail. But we just use it to try harder next time. Jut keep your sight on Him and you will make it through :hug: . Prayers for you sis!

Roman8. I am glad that things are beginning to turn the corner for you. I must confess...I've been worried sick about you. Even baby steps, but in the right direction, are a good and positive sign. He will be with you every step of the way. Lean on Him all the more through this difficult period.

You know there is no peace when we fall out of Gods will , none, and there are real consequences when we sin , not just for ourselves but we hurt others as well. The enemy makes things look so nice doesnt he, but we need to see things for what they really are . I even justifed it in myself , and said "Lord I just want to do this and then I will come back". Now I will reap what I have sown for the rest of my life.
There is nothing like the peace that comes from the Lord and it is already returning to me , which I so do not deserve to have.
this situation is still very ripe and I do have a fear I will still fall .

you are right a.baker we need to keep our selves focused on the Lord .

I will pray for you but, I hope you will also remember that you should never feel as though you cannot pray because your Heavenly Father LOVES YOU and He wants to talk to you. This is not a problem that is too big for him. None of us deserves the Grace that God gives us but he does it because of love. Please don't give up and keep fighting and God will give you the victory! Praise the Lord!!!
