hello Jorv88, I will try to answer for you as best I can.
1) NO
2) YES
3) No or you would have a hard time taking a shower! In public mmmm...well
4) YES it is a sin to bear false witness, but you have to use common sense, is a book of fiction wrong because it is a made up story? Think about it! same with Santa etc... stories!
5) FAKE! No the Bible does not mention them. No proof!
hope this helps...
all the best...

Many of the things you ask cannot be pointed directly at in the bible. As you know the bible was written before these things came to be, such as movies, and visual arts etc...
Long story short...if you engage in someting that in yor heart of hearts, you know is wrong, then yes it is sin.
For a person truly born again and has the Holy spirit dwelling within them, these activities you ask about, would not be found very pleasurable.
all the best..

You are thinking about sex with someone, her or someone else. The woman you are watching is stiumulating you, so you are thinking about her on some level. It is a sin.
2) if im legally able go 2 a rated r movie that containes drugs, sex, and violence am i sining for watching it???Depends on how you are reacting and thinking.
3)if i download a movie tha i payed 2 watch @ the movies n wanna c it again home.... is that a sinToo vague a question.
4) why is smoke'n pot as in natural marry-jane a sin???is it??? god did make it rigth???But he didn't make it for you to get high on. Intoxication is a sin.
more 2 come as i ask friends & family members for questions:D +plus great feedback n replys guys u ppl rock:yowza:Glad to help. :tiphat:

Walking with Christ entails much more than just going into a church building. It is a life long commitment. It sounds as though your friends just want to live their same life that they live already. Becoming born again is a deep and profound transition one goes through. It is born of a desire to live a Godly life. A supernatural life. One soon finds themselves parting with the world on many fronts.

And by studying and asking questions. ;)
But you are right in God is not in any church building. He is within the believers who attend, or not.

So many want to know how much they can get away with and still be a christian. This isn't true repentance.
jorv88... I like your questions. They're very stimulating.

Try this one on them. "Unless you repent, you will all like-wise PERISH"
How's that for black n white?!!!

Jorv88 is looking for more than cliche answers.
Jesus said many will stand before him confessing their words and works, but he sends them to the Lake because they did it for the wrong reasons. We see tons of that in the world today.
Christ said to look upon a woman and have thoughts of lust was the same impact as having sex with her, to look upon anothers possessions jealously and with lust was to steal it and so on.
So, the principle is that the damage sin does is not limited to actually committing it physically. Aamage comes from the desire to do so being in you.
No, you may not be guilty of actually acting out on desires to kill, steal, etc. But the damage to self is still being done by changing you and your thinking for not repenting of it and seeking to defeat and change it.
An old adage is true, 'As you think so you are.'
Deeds begin with thoughts that grow to actions. The thoughts come from who and what you are. What you are creates the thoughts.
It takes desire, knowledge and effort to change what one is. Biblical study via desire to change is the key.
