I wrote this a few years ago and it is on the Main Page. In doing some work and looking around for problems, I stumbled on it again.
So, one more time and there are articles on the Main Page that might interest some.
In the Things of God and the World where do you Stand?
He created all beginnings,
But beginningless was He.
When nothing else existed,
He knew all that would be.
Heaven He spread before him,
A place to rule and roam.
With Light and Glory abundant,
He filled his Glorious Home.
The Angels he then created,
And Heaven was filled with song.
Freedom of choice he gave them,
The choice of right and wrong.
Then Lucifer and others,
Desired to rule the rest.
But God in all His Glory,
Did not fail the test.
The Earth and Moon he also formed,
In keeping with his plan.
Green with plants and animal cries,
A perfect place for Man.
Man was created innocent,
Not knowing the Serpent’s lies.
The taking of the fruit that day,
Caused all of Man to die.
But God is just in all He does,
And he loved and pitied Man.
So he sent His Son to die for us,
As per His Perfect Plan.
The Beginningless took on flesh that day,
And cried as babies cry.
The Sinless took on all our sins,
And the Deathless did surely die.
Oh, weep my heart, for on that day,
Was the greatest crime of Man.
Oh, sing my heart, for on that day,
Jesus reached and took my hand.
Dead and buried he found me,
And joined me in dark Hell.
With tender loving kindness,
He pronounced me whole and well.
Time is short, people say,
So take what the world will give.
But I say, “No thanks to you,”
I will pass and live.
God ain’t real, he never was,
And yet you preach his name.
Not real! He lives within me,
I’ll always speak his name!
Cuss, smoke, and bed around,
Just be one of the boys!
Sorry, no, I belong to God,
I’m not one of Satan’s toys.
Catholic, Lutheran, Methodist or what,
Denomination you will declare.
It is the Bible only, full and complete,
That is inerrant, sweet, and without compare.
When Judgment comes I’ll stand with Christ,
Blessed and forgiven before His throne.
When Judgment comes and you are standing there,
Will you stand with Him, or will you stand alone?
