In truth you will not find answers via the Coptic Church. They are ritual, tradition and man made teachings followers.
You need to get a good solid Bible, in example the NIV and/or NASB and study. You also need to find a good solid group of Biblical literalists to study with. We can help here but a local group is a blessing.
You need the best foundation in Christ you can. You will not find that in a Coptic Church or confession. That priest cannot forgive you anything. Praying to saints and Mary is not Biblical. They can do nothing for you. Mary does not hold any elevated role in Heaven. All repentant born-again believers are saints. No church can vote you that role.
