The Little Girl
By Peace be still
At my job they pay this song over the radio called the little girl, but I have added to it from my own thoughts because I though I would make a good story.

There once was a little girl who’s parents fought a lot. They fought and argued every day. And like it always does the bad just got worse, with every slap and every curse. The little girl hid as she watched her parents fight and argue. Then in a fit of drunken rage one night, she watched in horror as her dad fist shot her mom and killed her and then turned the gun on himself. Then some people from the city came and took the little girl and gave here a new mom and a new dad, she got kisses and hugs every day from her new parents and she loved them dearly. One Sunday morning they decided to take her to Sunday school. As she was sitting in the class room she looked up on the wall and there it was, a picture of that man up on the cross. The little girl said to herself, “I don’t know that mans name but I know he got off of that cross, because back in my old house as I hid behind the couch the night my parents died, this man was there with me, holding me close to his side. Then she asked the teacher who was this man in the picture on the wall. The teacher told her “He is the savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. The little girl said please tell me more, you must tell me more about this man, and so the teacher began to read her the gospel of John, but she did not get very far into the story, all she said was { In the beginning was the word and the world was with God and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. The teacher got up to the part where it says, the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. The little girl burst out into tears. The teacher ask her, “What is the matter, why are you crying”? The little girl said, ‘’I know this man, I know this wonderful man. He has helped me before. Shocked the teacher asked, ‘where do you know this man from. The little girl with a quivering voice told the teacher the story of that terrible night. The little girl said, as I hid behind the couch the night my parents died, this wonderful man held me so close to his side. I never felt so much love in all my life. They asked what had happened, the teacher told them the story and then they both got knots in their throat, and then started to cry also. Her parents did not know the Lord even though they were good parents and good to the little girl. The parents asked their little girl, is this true, she said yes, I know this man and he is very dear to me. That Sunday morning after her parents hearing the story of what had happened to the little, how the lord was with her on that terrible night, they accepted the Lord into there harts. Peace be still
