My Vista upgraded to SP1 and now some problems with certain sites, including the chatbox here on CTZ.
So, adding that the annoyance of IE7 I decided to try Firefox again.
I tried it before and deleted it but this time, so far, it is looking pretty good. No, still have to run IE for a function or two but the gains making using two browsers is looking like it is worth it.
Anyone else tried Firefox?
By the way, I also had tried Opera, again. But it just didn't hack it.
Peace be still

I use nothing but Fire fox, it works wonderful. I can change skins to give it a different look, there are even Christian skins. I know every well how to use all of it’s functionality. I have E explorer but I don’t use it. I much rather Fire Fox, It is much safer for protecting you against viruses and it is much faster that E explorer. Peace be still

I am liking it more and more.
So far I have found one function that IE is much better at. But very few people use it so in the main not a big deal.
I am still using Windows Mail. Not sure about switching that over.
Peace be still

Skins are a different look for your fire fox browser. I know I am not suppose to ask for peoples emails but If you would send me your email address, I could send you a attachment of a picture of what fire fox looks like with different skins. I love to change my sink form time to time just to give Fire fox a different look. And what is IE, thanks

IE is Internet Explorer and the current version is IE7. IE8 is in beta development. IE is native to XP, Vista and such platforms.
One program I have to use is MS Outlook Web Access. It is not user friendly in anything but IE.
Linux operating systems are getting better. I use Ubuntu with on one old laptop because it just does have the RAM to drive XP or Vista. But it still have a long way to go before it can replace MS for a lot of users.

I just noticed something else. You can actually copy parts of a post as you are writing it in Firefox. No can do in IE.
I like that. :D

Maybe time to review your setting in your User CP (link up and to the left). ;)

Since I get annoyed at Windows Mail I am trying Thunderbird email box now as well.
So far I like it more. Address Book is easy to you use and it has smiles and other wysiwyg functions. Does a popup window when you receive mail telling you who from, in example. You can tag label emails to help in sorting and finding.

Unless something happens to change reality I am sticking with Firefox, Thunderbird and IE only for a special usage or two.
