11 "And from the time that the regular sacrifice is abolished, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1290 days.

12 "How blessed is he who keeps waiting and attains to the 1335 days!

I understand verse 11. But verse 12 throws me. What happens between 1290 and 1335 days. I mean, like I said, the 1290 days I get. But, what about the 1335 days?

Mid to Second Coming 1,260 days
Second Coming to pulling down the AoD, 30 days
Second Coming to the end of purging those who took the Mark 75 days.

Christ comes and begins three tasks immediately:
1. Gathering Jews back to Israel and assigning them to their Tribes and duties.
2. Destroying the AC, FP and his armies.
3. Hunting down those with the Mark worldwide.

Remember in OT Israel every tribe had specific duties, even divided into clans within tribes, as with the Temple maintenance duties.

So, the AoD is not touched until those whose duty it is to maintain the Temple are found, assigned, equiped and task organized. First task remove the AoD, the dragon.

Those with the Mark flee at Armageddon. In other nations they will go into hiding. 75 days to find and kill them.

Still alive after 75 and you are in the MK.

For all of it? That would be a bunch!

Numbers 3 begins the duties of the Tribe of Levi by clans. That shows the pattern of duties.

Judah we know is the kingly Tribe.

On the issue of dates.
Revelation 19
19Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army. 20But the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who had performed the miraculous signs on his behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur. 21The rest of them were killed with the sword that came out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Zechariah 14, in example, talks about the mount splitting when Christ returns and the soldiers fleeing and being hunted down. I didn't dig out all the passages on this one.

But the point is not all will be at Armageddon who took the Mark. But all who did will die.

Isaiah 5 and 11 are the gathering and assembly of Israel. And remember, Israel assembles by tribes and that it won't be instant. OT talks about the travels of the Jews out of other nations back to Israel.

Pretty much logic on the following. If still alive on day 1,335 you are safe.

Dan 12
11 "From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of the 1,335 days.

Here is when the Temple is completed and put into action in the MK.
13 Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to him, "How long will it take for the vision to be fulfilled—the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, the rebellion that causes desolation, and the surrender of the sanctuary and of the host that will be trampled underfoot?"
14 He said to me, "It will take 2,300 evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary will be reconsecrated."

These give a time line for Second Coming, gathering of Israel, removal and beginning or work on Temple, hunting down and purging those with the Mark and eventually the restoration of Temple practices.

Levi does the Temple. Judah does the leadership. Other tribes do other national duties.

Hope that helps.
