SPORTS: I have been known to use spectator
sports as a means of forgetting many of the
problems in this world.
However, as of late, I am seeing a side of
sports that is hitting me at the groin, so to
speak. It is the swearing.
Yes, I realize that swearing has been a part of
athleticism since the original Greek games, but
I have personally not heard it until recently.
Now, the dang directors seem intent on
getting close-ups of athletes yelling swears
out after plays, from that dang "F" word
to the worst of 'em all ....
taking our Lord's Holy Name in vain!!! :grr: :grr:
I am so sick and tired of seeing people
do that!!! With no let-up!!!
