Once in awhile I will think of an old friend. One haven't talked to or heard about in years, but for some reason just popped into my head. I wonder why that is. It makes me wonder where they are and what they are doing and wishing I could some how get a hold of them. Maybe I should just pray for them... Anyone else ever have wonders like that? By the way, I have one more year and it will be my 10 year reunion for school graduation. I can't wait to see those I miss.

I recently wondered what ever happened to my ninth grade English teacher so i did a Goggle and found she is a professor at a college in a state far from here.
The web site had her email addy so i sent her an email and she replied and remembered who i was. We have exchanged several emails and have both been real glad that we`re doing alright.
I think there is something that a person did that stands out in your mind and that`s why you remember certain people.
She was a babe for one thing, our birthdays were on the same day and she once went with Bob Dylan, cool.
I think it`s good to look up old friends and see how they`er doing. :):

Hey good idea. I can look them up on the net.

My mom ran into an old gym teacher of mine from junior high! I couldn't believe she remembered me and my two siblings as well! I was always a shy one. But she remembered me!

It is nice to see that when you do find them they are doing good.

I wonder on some myself. Or old places I lived.

Sigh. Every place I lived before my home now is gone.

Were they tore down Core? I wish I could take a tour of the inside of houses I used to live in and schools I used to go to.

:( Nobody wants to fix stuff or update stuff. They all want to tear down and start brand new. Kind of a waist. Plus thats throwing history away!

They were all pretty old when I was in them. Some falling apart.

But I know what you mean.

Out with the old...in with the new...time marches forward...it's called progress!

I agree change is always happening. But it ain't always progress.

Change for changes sake can be very destructive.

the places I lived at a child are gone for the most part or they dont even look the same.

places I loved are gone too. tore them down to put in apts.

things have changed so much. I understand some of it, but tearing down everything is not good.

This happens to me very strongly. I have one particular girl named Lucille that I haven't seen since childhood. She was extremely poor, and got picked on all the time in school. She wasn't just picked on, she was picked on in an extremely cruel way all the time.

I think about her ALL THE TIME! And, you know what? I pray for her. I'm constantly calling out to God on her behalf. I think one of the reasons I think of her is because I was one of those kids who picked on her. Not as bad as some...but I still did it. When you're little and you're doing things like that, you don't stop to think about how you'll feel when you get older. Well, I feel bad, and until the day they throw dirt in my face, I will always regret it.

I pray for her....and I always will.

Chrystal I know what you mean. I was one that was picked on all the time because I had acne really really bad. It started when I was in 4th grade. The boys were the worst. They would make me cry and than pick on me for crying. When they got bored or wanted a laugh I was one of those that were it. Luckily my mom and dad got me into a dermatologist and really saved my skin from scars. I had them really bad from then till about 10th grade.

So my skin is now all better and I am glad in a way that I went through that. It was very hard growing up but as an adult I am thankful for that experience. I can look past anyones physical looks and embrace them. So all I am saying is that don't be too hard on yourself. People change so much and I bet that girl is a very beautiful person who is doing well for herself. I also bet she doesn't take to hard to things like that from childhood. I mean kids will be kids and quite frankly kids are down right mean. Like you said, they don't think about those things; those things come with time. I bet if you saw that girl today you would be surprised! :)

Ever think what a thrill it would be to find these people and express your heart to them?

all the best...

I am always astounded how early children learn the ways of wickedness.

all the best...

I would love to find her and do just that.

I think it will never happen, though. So, onward I go, and continue to pray fervently for her.
