Work was cancelled today. YEEE HAWWWW!!!!!

I would go play in the snow, but it's just too cold. That's okay, I'll sit here, look out the window, and just enjoy it.

Oh, and did I say...."YEEEEEE HAWWWWW????"

We had almost 4 inches, another 1-2 inches coming in on Saturday. But, all that fell yesterday has pretty much melted away today. Saturday it's going to get really cold and stay that way for a few days. GOOD! I love winter!

Chrystal do you live in the south? We got a lot of snow last night til this morning. I don't know how much but you could take a shovel to the car to clean it off LOL. I have to shovel before I leave this morning or my car won't make it out. I love winter too. I might sound a little crazy but I like the shoveling. I like the cold but not this cold. It is supposed to get up to only 15 degrees today! I don't like the summer around here too much though. It doesn't get super hot too often and so the lakes and pools are always pretty chilly. But I also get cold easy I suppose.

Yes, I live in the south. I used to live in the mountains of WV, and when it would now there, I would go to school in knee-deep snow. No problem. They would throw chains on the bus tires and send us on.

They do things differently the further south you go. I don't think they're used to the snow like they are further north.

All schools closed today. And it's still coming down... You should of seen me shoveling yesterday. I took my snow clothes off when I came in the house and they were drenched from sweat; my hair too. It was only 15 degrees yesterday. I think I shoveled for close to 2 hrs. I am sore today (places in my back). I have to go out and shovel more here real soon. I enjoy it though. We get a lot of snow from lake effects. I can only imagine the rain around here come spring...

a.baker, you are a truly awesome wife. If I did not shovel the drive, my wife would simply plow through it with her car and create a groove that would fit her car only...LOL

Ha Ha I see many of my neighbors do that now, except they have those 4 wheel drive suburban type vehicles. Our car on the other hand scrapes cement all the time so it is low to the ground and it does not drive well in snow at all either.

BAKER SAID: They do things differently the

Here in southern Tennessee, they call off
school, when it rains overnight and the
roads freeze over. Like, ummm, ever heard of
salting/sanding trucks??
