Why does the old testament talk more about fear and law and the new testament talks more about feelings and treating others? They both talk much about representation of ourselves in our walk with Him and are focussed on Him, but they are each focussed on a different representation.

In some places of the bible (for me any way) it is hard to find the balance between the NT and the OT. What is the balance?

Old Testament, Eye for an eye, and is part of the reason there is no peace in Israel.
New Testament, turn the other cheek and forgive, + the price for sin has been payed by His blood not animal sacrifice.
Hope that`s correct. :):

Yep, ITW.

OT was legal dealing with unchanged human nature. NT deals with born-again.

More is expected from us than OT. We are suppose to have an inner change that makes understanding much clearer to us than was to them.
