Today in Sunday school class our topic was sex and violence on t.v. and rated R movies. It was really nice to sit and relate with others on how bad our society has gotten on what the general public accepts as o.k. How no one is embarrassed for what they should be embarrassed for. How morals are going down. And how people take pride in the acts that they indulged in. If it has to be kept secret than in most cases it is not a good thing.

I was mentioning, how my husband does not hang out with a Christian group, so he is constantly attacked with "Hey look at this, or, hey do this." He constantly comes to me with his struggles in how he has to defend his morals to people he interacts with. People try to say things to him "What you won't check out this girl because she is hot; what are you gay"? Than he has to defend how he is married and his wife is satisfying to him and so he doesn't feel the need to look at other girls. They say, " So". Like they think if he doesn't constantly check out other girls than something is wrong with him.

My response is that because he won't check this or that out, than these people that are coming to him are feeling guilty because he is scolding them out silently just by not joining in on their acts. They say to him "Suit yourself".

When it comes to sex the world is turning into animals; aren't they?

It was just nice to sit down at church and talk to others about these issues.

all I know is that its bad. everytime one turns around its either sex or filthy talk.
I think they want someone to run with them and be worse than they are so they can follow, and they are so immersed in their lusts they dont know any other way.

contentness in marraige is something most dont want.

and my goodness how the older men speak of younger girls too.
its horrid. and the girls and wemon are falling head long into it too.

The reason for this is mainly due to the corruption of what marriage is, how it works and what it represents.

Society has ruined the institution by not condeming fornication and adultry as it once did. God said they were bad for a reason. Now we know why.

Nothing is wrong with your husband, everything is wrong with his "friends" that ogle, demean, and desire to either fornicate with women they are not married to or if they are married then commit adultry.

if one wanted their relationship with their husband how on earth can they leave the door open for "sharing" what is'nt to be shared and leaving the door open in his head and heart to think, see and do things that destroy relationships?

I think it is becoming more popular that if you don't except it than your casted out. If you don't let your man have his free will in his lusts than your considered a physco or freaked out b**** ( sorry for my language but that is literally what they say). That is what I see in my generation. If it bothers you than something is wrong with you in their eyes. Girls are seriously starting to have the same attitude with it and o.k. with it. Consciousness is disappearing is what it is. A lot of the girls like the attention.

No, but it is vanishing. People are doing some horrible things to their bodies and to other people and having pride, in having pride, within doing so. (Hope that makes sense). They are literally turning very inhumane with a sickness and enjoying for reasons beyond my comprehension. It is not just about lust. There are people that literally roll around in their own human filth and they don't see themselves as mentally sick!!! Consciousness is gone in many people and disappearing quickly in others. Very very disturbing!!! Seriously so many out there are so very sick and they are not embarrassed to share it.

Think about the date rape drug and how others brag about using it! They did a t.v. special with hidden cameras on 20/20 (I think thats what it was) and you wouldn't believe how many people wouldn't help or cared and were for it; as this actor pretended he was going to use this drug on this girl and than acted out as if it happened (the girl was acting too) and how the reaction from the guys were like "Hey cool thats sweet I wish I could do that". What?!?!

I am very scared as I raise my little girl right now. I want to protect her from the world forever and I can't.

like the britney spears thing. frankly I get so sick of seeing her on tv with her
newest dumb thing she did, but I am concerned she is off really really off emotionally or mentally or both. and all they do is exploit it for money.


the no shame boy do I know that one well. talk, and do things that should never be said or done. it just makes one numb. and I want ear plugs. I mean that seriously.

I hate having to listen to curseing, and just downright foul talk daily that leads us away from the Lord.

What a husband and wife do in the confines of their own bedroom is to be kept there.
That is the sanctity of the marriage bed.

That is one of the reasons for marriage so that husband and wife can fulfill all their desires for one another exclusively. The two are to become one. Your body no longer belongs to you but to your spouce.

Wanting to show it all off or share it with your 'buddies' or brag is a violation. Its no ones else's business.

Being in the flesh is part of being human. Its when you turn yourself over completely and let the flesh rule you that is depravity.

As long as we are in the flesh we will have fleshly desires and thoughts. That's not inhuman that's part of the human experience.

As believers we have to let the spirit rule and guide our desires.

Yup and understand that. Please understand I am not with the world in their lustful desires. Me and my husbands marriage is very biblical and private. He is just struggling with his worldly friends that do not understand or accept that fact. And I am struggling with my generation and seeing where the next are going. No things are getting worse.

Biblical standards is not how the world operates and we are surrounded by the world and their new age morals. I suppose all I am saying here things out there are bad and how are we to cope? There are some seriously nasty things that people do now that I cannot imagine they used to do back in the day. The examples I want to put up here to talk about I just can't on the site. They are too vulgar and yes inhumane. I will put just 3 words for one example; urine and sexual pleasures. That seems very animal like to me don't you think? Whats human about that? Who in the world would have a fleshy desire to do such a thing to themselves?

these things have always been here, but as the word of God is removed it will become more prevelent. :( it is animal like, degraded.

In a weird way that is encouragement for me Jessie in dealing with this. Seeing that it is getting worse. It is encouragement to know I am not the only one who is disgusted. To know I am not the only one who is sickened by my stomach when the popularity of it all is growing. I think we all are. Your right, the more they take Jesus out of the picture the faster this stuff expands and multiplies.

Dont let the world or these desires get you down. They have always been. Focus on you and your family and not these things that are disturbing you.

They dont have to accept it but if they are his friends they should respect his beliefs. If not he needs new friends.

Well the bible warns us not to get involved with such practices. We are to rely on the guidance of the bible and the Holy Spirit.

Well I know of no animal that would delight in such fetish type behavior and do it for the sexual pleasure of it. So its part of the drive of the human flesh. Animals act out of instinct. Humans act out of choice and desire.

God has given us the gift of sex and sexuality and as with any gift it can be used and abused for ungodly purposes.

Well these behaviors and practices are not new. What you are seeing is the result of God allowing people the desires of their hearts. Flesh overtaking Spirit. And like a drug addict they build up a tolerance for one form and have to move to the next desire that will fulfill them.

Sex and sexuality are powerful, and result in powerful emotions. And like everything else when humans leave God out they mess it up completely.

Yes that is a very good way to describe it; it is just like a drug; when one fix doesn't cut it anymore they search for a new one.
