Why when God created us and other living creatures did He make it so we have to sleep? I asked this question to my mom when I was little and she said it was because that would make it so we would have to have a home to go to every night instead of always wandering around. But we would still need a home for other things besides sleep. So many people struggle with sleep too.

I think only earthly creatures sleep. And that because sin has made our bodies imperfect so we need to sleep to allow resets, repairs and other things that are not part of being angels in example.
