I have a question. I will ask people at my church and see what they think too.

My husband will listen and accept others with what they believe. He is undecided if Jesus is the One. Now he wants to teach children as a hobby. Something he enjoys very much. He said he wants to start going to church to get into the youth group to start teaching or rather just organize and conduct games or events and be involved. He says the church won't let him because he is not settled on Jesus. Which I agree with, the point of youth group is to teach about Jesus.

I told him to see about after school programs for children who have no one home when they go home so they stay at school for these volunteer programs to stay out of trouble. A community public school thing. But my husband said he doesn't want to work with inner city kids because of the bad morals they were raised with and attitudes they have. Which if he is trying to teach for enjoyment, not for volunteering heartfelt help, than I don't blame him. He says he would rather work in a church because of the attitudes and morals of the children.

So my question is what would God say? Teaching is definitely what he was meant to do. I would think myself that God would say no. But could this be a way God is trying to grab my husbands attention? Could he start hanging around Christian kids and find Jesus?

He doesn't want to teach kids about Jesus he wants to teach them about other stuff. He likes church type kids because they have good morals.

Sounds like an activities assistant or something like that would be for him.

Or Scouting, 4-H or those kind of programs.

I think so too. He was in boyscouts growing up and said he loved it. He always asks me if I would go camping in the winter and I say no way. I guess when he was in boyscouts they went camping in the winter and pulled their supplies on sleds and made their own shelters and everything. I agree, an activity or boyscout leader or something. Thank x I will mention it to him.
