I am sorry I didn't see your post earlier. I think maybe we submitted around the same time or something? I am not sure.
But about getting a close relationship between you and God again I would say the first thing would be pray to Him and confess what is troubling you and tell Him how torn up you are about it and tell Him how much you want to be close to Him again. Ask Him to lead you from temptation and make you strong.
Really it is between you and Him. I am not sure what exactly is going on with you but God does and so do you. I am here for anything you need and I have open ears. Maybe ask for God to point you to some scripture.
I did that and whamo it was exactly what I was struggling with and helped me out tons.
