British Defense Researchers Create Invisible Tank

British defense researchers have invented an invisible tank — or at least a way to make a tank invisible.

London's Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph and Sun all report on tests conducted by the Ministry of Defence last week in which a tank rolled across a field, completely invisible to observers standing at a certain point.

"This technology is incredible," an unnamed soldier was quoted by the Daily Mail and Sun. "If I hadn't been present I wouldn't have believed it. I looked across the fields and just saw grass and trees — but in reality I was staring down the barrel of a tank gun."

I don't know how, but it says what they used. I bet it took a lot of work I bet David Copperfield, Chris Angel or David Blaine was involved. Now I bet you could hear it though. But if ever used in war there is no way you could hear it though on the field. When we hear of things like this it makes me wonder what kind of crazy things our government is up to. You always hear of rumor stories. But that is pretty crazy! Give technology 5 more years and they could really use something like that on the field.

There is also tech base on 'wrapping' light around something. Some based on fiber optics. Light enters one end, flows around and is released on the other end.

Or a 'lens' that fools the eye by randomly reflecting images for different angles, like billions of tiny mirrors.

I used the second for a set of shooting glasses to let light to a competitive shooters left eye to allow better depth perception while escaping the need to shut the eye to focus on the sights.

we heard on tv they were doing that beaming up like on star trek about a yr ago.

Things? Would take an incredible technology to do.

I dont know how but they were doing it with things hoping they could make it work on people.
