Ramzi Yousef, the mastermind of the first terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, claims he converted from Islam to Christianity, Scott Pelley reports in a story that brings viewers inside the secretive "Supermax" prison where he is being held. Pelley also reports that some 900 force feedings were performed on other al-Qaeda terrorists who went on repeated hunger strikes to protest conditions at the Colorado top-security federal prison. The 60 MINUTES segment will be broadcast Sunday Oct. 14 (7:30-9:00 PM, ET/7:00-9:00 PM, PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The prison in Florence, Colo., which the government calls ADX-Florence for Administrative Maximum, houses the nation's toughest and most infamous criminals, such as Olympic bomber Eric Rudolph, would-be 9/11 terrorist Zacarias Moussaoui, Oklahoma City bomber Terry Nichols and shoe bomber Richard Reid. 60 MINUTES obtained exclusive footage of prisoners inside the facility, where special-case prisoners are allowed only a phone call a month, spend 23 hours a day in their 12-by-7 cells and can get mail only from people approved by the prison.

Another mess.

Maybe the other prisoners scared the poop out of him. There is a max in Alaska and I watched a story/ interview on that place and it is sure scary to see inside a criminals mind for a minute. So many of them are lost in absolute crazy darkness. About the same rules apply to them. Those people act like animals. So that man must of gotten so scared that he prayed to God to take him away. One has a lot of isolated time on their hands in there. Can't have pride in that environment. You play off pride though so you don't get singled out. How in the world do some get a hold of keys is beyond me. And how in the world do they make home made weapons is beyond me. They check them people so thoroughly all the time. I think living in those conditions one would either become severely sickened in their mind or find God. I don't think there are any that can claim to be "in between" in there. My uncle was a guard for a prison in Florida and there was an prisoner outbreak and he got hit in the head with a metal chair. He had severe damage to his head and it took him 10 mths. to get out o the hospital. He has permanent damage to his brain to where he cannot work any more. I don't know the details of the damage beyond that but my mom does.

understand to even claim to be a Christian is a death sentence for a muslim
so if he is faking...
but if not then he deserves our prayers

Oh I know it. With the Muslim religion your either a Muslim or nothing, and nothing to them deserves death. But if he has found God I can see why he can't be quiet about it and why he no longer has fear of death. He has probably realized he will die for some reason eventually from being a Muslim which is false or he can die with life knowing God. I doubt he would even claim to know Jesus because it's not a game play with Muslims. Muslims are too prideful to even utter His name in anything unless it's hatred for Him. The man would die just for saying he knows Jesus and trying to deny it later, he would still die any way. So to even utter it the damage in a Muslims eye's has already been done. Yeah I would say he needs our prayers. But in the end only God knows his true heart.
