Thats a cool piece of history! I never knew what the first chairs looked like. This style must go way back. My husband says he remembers the style from boy scouts.

It`s strong being made from 2 inch wood. They come apart and lay flat so they could be carried in the bottom of a covered wagon.
I have seen them at rendezvous covered with furs also, i can`t remember what they`er call so i can`t find any history about them.
