Syrian air defenses opened fire on Israeli aircraft that violated Syrian airspace overnight Thursday, a Syrian military spokesman said.

The Israelis broke the sound barrier and ''dropped ammunition'' over deserted areas of northern Syria (http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3285832,00.html) overnight, the spokesman was quoted as saying by the official Syrian Arab News Agency.

Yes..shame on Syria..but Israel also needs to be careful, they kind of instigated(?sp) that one...The president of syria doesn't know what to do about anything...he was supposed to be a doctor and then his family members died and he became the President...he doesn't know how to stop the terrorists using his country to go into Iraq....he can't stop the terrorists in his country...he doesn't trust Israel...and if you can look at it from his side...it's a shame....can't we all just get along??...poor Israel...they are surround by people who hate them...I kind of worry about Iran...they want them whiped off of the face of the earth!
